Laundry Detergent Plastic Bottles are toxic for the environment. They are mostly water in tough to decompose heavy plastic bottles. It is a marketing ploy to make you think you are getting a lot by making it big and bulky. Only 30% of the bottles ate ever recycled. So we are trying a better choice. I will let everybody know in a couple of weeks what I think of the sheet detergent that is eco-friendly.
🌳How many plastic laundry jugs end up in landfills each year?
Per year, about 700 million plastic liquid laundry detergent jugs are thrown into landfills in the U.S. While some people think it's completely harmless, we need to stop using liquid laundry detergent altogether since we are putting ourselves and the environment at risk, and there is a healthier alternative.May 20, 2023
🌳The EPA estimates that only 30% of these single-use plastic containers ever end up being recycled, and this makes sense as most households only keep a recycling container in the kitchen so waste from the laundry room tends to end up directly in the rubbish.
🌳Liquid laundry detergents, in non-concentrated form, are made up of 60 to 90 percent water. The water isn't even necessary — you can certainly locate concentrated detergents. But large bottles stand out in grocery aisles, meaning the water is a marketing ploy, not a chemistry need.Dec 2, 2020
