❗𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡❗ We have a group of 8 dogs that need to arrive in Connecticut for 2/8/25 before 10 AM!! We are currently having trouble finding a transport that will make it there for that day! Please share and help us find a transport/driver!!

We CANNOT take any more dogs until this group leaves!

On Thursday, October 31st, around 4:50 p.m., Metairie resident GracieLangham was involved in an automobile accident on Clearview Parkway. After the impact, Mav, her 8-month-old, beloved golden retriever, became frightened, jumped out of the car, and ran away.

Just thinking back to how much fun we had at Barktoberfest 2024! And these amazing photos by MacKenzie Prejean Photography definitely prove it!

Meet Hank! Hank is an 8 month old Pointer mix. Originally found in Dularge, he was found as a stray where a Good Samaritan took him and got him checked out, and eventually, he made his way to us here! Hank is a super sweet and polite boy who loves to play fetch and play with other dogs but isn't a rough player. After he fetches, he dutifully rolls over for a "good job" belly rub. He's also HOUSE-TRAINED!

Hank has been neutered and is available for adoption, but if you would like to meet Hank, don’t feel shy, send us a message.

Meet Bolt! Just like his namesake, Bolt is a celebrity! Bolt when on Fox 8 when we were advertising for Barktoberfest. He's the 6th pup of the Disney litter, and is 5 months old and 17 lbs. Their vet thinks they're Blue Heeler Shepherd mixes. Bolt is a sweet puppy, who loves attention and to play with other dogs and kids. Bolt has started learning manners, but will need someone to continue his basic training.

Meet Honey! Honey is a 57 lb Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix. Originally from Jenning, she was a neglect case but you would never know that now! If there was a dog just to make life easy, that's Honey. She's a big cuddler and love other dogs. She's mild mannered and hasn't had one bad review on her cuddling skills. She super gentle with children and adores them. She's also HOUSE-TRAINED!

Meet Baloo! He was a hit at the puppy pen at Barktoberfest! Baloo is the biggest of his 7 siblings at 5 months old and 20 lbs. Although not a black bear, he is a teddy bear and since he's bigger, it just means that there's more to love and hug. Their vet thinks they're Blue Heeler Shepherd mixes. Baloo is a fun pup, who loves other dogs, people, and kids and who's a great balance of cuddly and playful. Baloo has started learning manners, but will need someone to continue his basic training.

He's the fourth pup of our Disney litter. Their vet thinks they're Blue Heeler Shepherd mixes. Mowgli is a fun pup, who loves other dogs, people, and kids and who's a great balance of cuddly and playful. Mowgli has started learning manners, but will need someone to continue his basic training.

Aurora is a fun pup, who loves other dogs, people, and kids and who's goal is to find a permanent lap to nap in. Aurora has started learning manners, but will need someone to continue her basic training.

Meet Ellie! Ellie made an appearance at Barktoberfest. Did she steal anyone's heart? Ellie and her siblings were found in the woods in Morgan City. She's the second showcase of our Disney litter. Their vet thinks they're Blue Heeler Shepherd mixes. Ellie is a fun pup, who loves other dogs, people, and kids. Coming in at 5 months old and 13 lbs, Ellie is the smallest of bunch and always acting like a little lady. Little, but mighty, she is very friendly to all dogs and people and the perfect size for cuddling. Let Ellie make you feel elated! Ellie has started learning manners, but will need someone to continue her basic training.

Meet Lilo! Lilo was one of the pups people got to cuddle at Barktoberfest. Lilo is 5 months old and 16 lbs. Did she steal anyone's heart? Lilo and her sisters were found in the woods in Morgan City. A posse of 7, they're our big, cute Disney litter. The vet thinks they're Blue Heeler Shepherd mixes. Lilo is a fun pup, who loves other dogs, people, and kids. She is also obsessed with holding sticks and can take the goofiest photos. Lilo has started learning manners, but will need someone to continue her basic training.
