Sorry to tag you all, but I don't even know if that works, as I haven't done it before. I've used it now in the hope that it does, because I rather desperately need feedback. This is the first painting in 2 years, since I developed my essential tremor.
It's different, I don't know if to fight the slight shake I'm left with it, or go with it, so I started off fighting it (and losing!) and then went with it.
So - honest opinions please?

Very exciting! Starting again. Fingers crossed!
My shaking is under control, and, after 2 years, I'm starting to paint again. Nothing to show yet - I just wanted to announce the news that I'm well, not shaking and I can't wait to pick up a paint brush!

I'm doing a painting a little differently. I'm doing each "layer" as in sky, distant, middle, foreground, and putting up real time video's of each one. It's a bit different in style because it's directed for a children's book about a horse that falls in love with a unicorn. Originally it was going to be two unicorns, but I can think of more story lines if one is a horse 🙂 Part one - The sky

Foal in Gouache. I'm definitely obsessed with horses - just as I was when I was a child. It's been 22 years and a hip replacement since I last owned my own horse and that long since I rode. Except now I've started again! Ely McCarthy from https://www.facebook.com/Yeaorneighhorsemanship is giving me lessons and if you are on the Sunshine Coast I recommend her highly for horsemanship - more then just riding, how to keep your horse, mentally and physically well and happy. OMG I'm so excited about horses again!
