Juice Box, our personal dog , showing Taowhywee of Freed's Winery how to be the best wine dog ever !
Taowhywee is very well trained but needs a lot of space when interacting with dogs that come to her owner's winery. We are teaching her how to take that space and how to interact appropriately when approached by other dogs. She is a rockstar and so are her handlers !

Reactive dogs are still good dogs ! Each dog here has shown signs of aggression towards humans or other dogs. It's up to us to show our companion that we are the leader in each situation and that they can trust us to handle scary interactions !
I work extensively with you and your family to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Each family and relationship is different.
We go over how your dog became reactive and why they are behaving in this manner and do our best to teach you skills that will make your home and public time with your dog much more relaxing.

A wonderful summer outing at Tri City Elementary school.
Kismet got to show off her therapy and service dog moves and the difference between the two. Bowie got his feet wet into therapy work and was able to experience around 200 kids petting and hugging him.
We can't wait for next year to come and share doggy love to these little ones !

Congratulations Team Myrtle for completing your one month board and train ! Myrtle has learned not to take things from the trash , to be polite when something is taken from her and to tolerate dogs a bit better. One month still isn't a lot for reactive dogs to completely change their ways , but it is an amazing start to basics and showing her that she can be a better girl.
I am so proud of her and her family for working so hard with her today !
Nickel, our little foster dog who wound up on our property, has found a home ! The fearful skinny dog that was most likely dumped up by the Nickel Mines , has become a friend that's willing to try new things and take on the whole world.
Nickel has come so far from when we first found her. It took us a month to coax her into our house. She now has picked her family. Nickel played ball, took treats and wagged her little tail when she met her owner. She will have 10 acres to romp around on with her new brother Gunnar.
Tears were definitely shed. She is such a special little girl. I am so thankful that I took the time to rehabilitate her as she would most likely not fare well in a shelter environment.
Here's to you my little fox girl and the new adventures you and your family will be going on !
We hope you're doing well ! Here are some happy faces. I am not currently taking clients unless you are a previous client or have a special situation. I am offering up Video Lessons though if that's something you'd be interested in. I will most likely be taking maternity leave in mid to late August.
I am booked until August for board and training but depending on the days oro that am taking just boarding clients still.

This is Roxie's introduction to retrieval. She is going to be a service dog for her handler. Some of her tasks will include bringing items to the handler, carrying bags for the handler, and holding items for short periods. She had an absolute blast ! I absolutely love seeing dogs that are so ready to please their handler. Dogs want to make us proud. They certainly show it as best they can every day. Celebrate your dog's successes. Lily is learning to go underneath chairs and tables right now. She is going to be using this behavior a lot in her life. Lily is a service dog in training for her mother, Chris. She shows great promise I'm this line of work despite being a stubborn hound dog ! She loves to learn and prides herself in solving problems.
