Nice little clutch of Texan indigo snake eggs laid this week. Only 7 eggs but a first clutch for this particular female. There should be another clutch laid shortly from another pairing.

This monster has multiple places to hide in his viv but he if I can't find him in the usual spots it means he's coming into shed and under his water bowl, luckily his water bowl is almost 3 feet in diameter. It makes a great pose for a photo when I lift the bowl though.

My second clutch of yellow tail cribos are now hatching. These are twice the size and twice as angry as the first clutch.
These are completely unrelated from the first clutch too.

First yellow tail has hatched with lots more getting ready to leave their eggs. Looks like the second clutch of these is very close to hatching too.

I have a habit of tapping to attract snakes that I'm feeding which makes water bowl changes interesting as the Drymarchon soon associate every tap/bang or knock as food time. This yearling couperi never misses a "beat".
