Update on Little Brown🐶

He is getting treated Animal Mama Veterinary Hospital & Emergency in PP.

~Diseases we confirmed are:
* All 3 tickborne parasites (anaplasmosis, enrlichiosis and Babesiosis) in his blood

*Severe anemia, which resulted from probably tickborne diseases, fungal infection and secondary bacterial infections on the wounds.
It is still under acceptable levels, but Albumin is low.

*We will monitor it carefully and he may need both blood transfusion and Albumin to help him to pull throufh. But we aren't there yet.

*Wounds all over his body, his facial appearance is due to fungus literally eating away his skin.
On top of that, the wounds are also infected with bacterial infection, which is secondary, yet makes each wound excruciatingly painful.

*We had to put him on pain management.
❤️He became more relaxed aftet that.
*We think his initial aggression was a result of living in this pain for so long.

🙏The team at Animal Mama are able to help cure Brown but it’s a very long road ahead.
He has a whole medical plan to follow.
Step by step…Soon he will be living his best life.

*His Liver needs to be monitored every 6 weeks, clean environment and bedding, healthy foods and lots of attention & love.

🐾 Animal Mama Hospital on a Mission: Rabies Free Cambodia 🐾

Today Animal Mama started a mission on Koh Rong Island, where compassion meets action in our goal to protect and care for all animals. So here is a short sum up of our first day!

✔️62 animals got treatment in total!
✔️ Vaccination Triumphs: 31 dogs received the core and rabies vaccinations, ensuring a brighter, healthier future.
✔️ 5 cats joined the ranks of the protected with their own core and rabies vaccinations.
✔️4 dogs were microchipped, ensuring their safe return home.
✔️Desexing Dedication: In our unwavering commitment to population control and the well-being of our animal friends, 16 dogs had desexing procedure. Also, 2 cats were desexed.
✔️32 animals were treated from tick bone disease, chlamydia, heart disease, hip dysplasia pain management and more.

🐶This would never be possible without the cooperation with an amazing organisation of dedicated individuals from Pups in Paradise.

🔹 ការក្រៀវ៖ នៅក្នុងការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តឥតងាករេរបស់យើងចំពោះការគ្រប់គ្រងចំនួនសត្វ និងសុខុមាលភាពរបស់មិត្តសត្វរបស់យើង សត្វឆ្កែចំនួន 16 ក្បាលត្រូវបានក្រៀវ ។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀត ឆ្មា២ក្បាលត្រូវបានក្រៀវផងដែរ។
🔹 សត្វចំនួន 32 ក្បាលត្រូវបានព្យាបាលពីជំងឺបង្កដោយសត្វដង្កែ Chlamydia ជំងឺបេះដូង ការឈឺត្រគាក និងបញ្ហាជាច្រើនទៀត។

កិច្ចការនេះនឹងមិនអាចធ្វើទៅបានទេបើគ្មានកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការជាមួយអង្គការដ៏អស្ចារ្យគឺ Pups in Paradise ។
