Presents been under the tree for over a week with 4 dogs having free run of the house no issues or concerns. Friend called today with her 4 year old pooch and as soon as our backs turned he was in the chocolates. The importance of teaching your dog not to touch anything that’s not theirs or they have permission to take can’t be overstated, train it from day 1 and you will never have to worry. It could just save their life too.

Come rain or shine he works his socks off every drive but the last drive he always knows once it’s over he gets on board for his lift back…so funny 😂🥰🐶

I often hear it said of working dogs that they are a tool but I prefer a partnership…we work together, I take care of him and he takes care of business!

The importance of being steady around stock and distractions can’t be overstated in a working dog because you never know when you will be asked to pick up in a paddock full of extremely curious sheep…still one of my favourite photos 🥰😍

Recall on little puppy legs 🥰 start from day one making it fun to be with you and building that bond and you won’t have any issues. Pups that find their environment more fun than you will inevitably turn into self employed dogs, and while you can bring it back it’s far easier to make it the default. Time invested now will pay off hugely over the dogs lifetime…
