A walk in the wetlands, Bailey met wonderful doggies and had a sniff, a cuddle, a run.
Time to go home. He was not having it and retreated to the bushes.

Rain is getting boring. So let's get stuck into tissues! Naughty Bailey!

Could not believe the fuss over a quick walk in the front paddock. We've moved the bovines up the back to give the paddock some time to recover. Little Bailey went crazy at us all the way to the centre of the paddock. And then when he realised he wasn't going to get chased by cattle he ran around like a mad thing. Then of course as we walked back out of the paddock he went crazy protesting he wasn't ready to leave his new play pen. 🤷‍♀️
He's now snoring his cute as a button face off dreaming what ever it is 12 week border collie kelpie wannabe cattle dog's dream about.

Of course the steer in the foreground decided to say hello and approached MrB, at which point, Bailey skeedaddled to safety once more.

Last week, trainee working pup, Bailey got a bit too close to these hungry bovines. He was naughty, ran through the fence which he can do because he's still small. Bailey, trainee WD was happily playing and ignoring me trying to encourage him out of an inhabited paddock.
The steers got wind that there may be a new bale roll-out. It got them jogging down the hill. A low rumbling vibration underfoot and Bailey got a bit of a fright as a wall of black beasts quickly approached.

It turns out that it's a very effective way of getting him out of the paddock. He came running straight for me, his little face white with terror.

Alas, it hasn't stopped his curiosity and he's still watching, learning and occasionally sneaking into bovine territory...
