Update: Lola was hiding under her mom’s front porch the whole time! She is back inside safe and sound. Thank you everyone for the shares!

Lola is missing from the area of 84 Flanders road since around 2pm. She is 13 years old and is wearing a collar with tags on it. Please contact us with any sittings or information.ddor

Share-worthy for sure!

We can’t keep our minds off our Jamaican crew — what they must be thinking, and what’s going on back home. They were supposed to leave Tuesday, but flights have been canceled until who knows when.

We’ve collectively decided that, starting today, all pumpkins will be offered for donation only, with all proceeds going directly to help our amazing Jamaican crew — in whatever way, shape, or form they may need it after this storm hits home.

So when you’re carrying your pumpkin from the yard over to the Farm Store, keep in mind that our guys have been the ones picking, loading, and unloading all of these pumpkins — thousands of pounds worth — some of which have already gone to local food banks and other organizations as donations.

I don’t know what we’d do without their help. It’s only right that we return the favor. 💛🎃🇯🇲

One pumpkin per donation please.

You might not recognize these two cuties from when they arrived but here are Duffy and our Little Hippo - they have both come a long way in their social skills and bravery as well as their health
Duffy had horrible abscesses in her little feet that took months to clear and we actually thought the Little Hippo had vision issues... nope she just couldn't see through the hair!!!
Her coat was over grown and it took months for her to allow a trim - as soon as we body clipped her and cleaned up her face she was anew donkey!! Now with full vision she is friendly and independent and begs for attention it took some time but these girls are social butterflies

Lloyd and Luigi aren't actually glued together but it seems like it some days

Luigi gets the much needed exercise to work on his muffin top because Lloyd is into everybody's business and is always wandering to a new spot to supervise the daily activities - this photo was cleaning up some cookies that dropped out of my pocket on the way through the dry lot 🤦🏼‍♀️

We are helping to place 4 young alpacas - 2 female and 2 male (intact) all are white similar to this picture and have been handled and haltered

They are not currently at the rescue but are looking for a home separately or as a herd - messages us for additional info

Do your children need volunteer hours from a non-profit for the upcoming school year?? We know it is tough to find but We have some options that may help. We cannot take volunteers to work with the animals directly but we have other options that will help the donkeys greatly!
