***HELP NEEDED***
Most of what we share with our followers here is happy content, but unfortunately today is a different type of content. Yesterday a momma Doberman was brought to us, due in about a week and a half. This is typical as we like Moms to get adjusted with us before they start delivering babies and a complete stranger is there trying to assist. Sadly though, mom was in active labor and her babies are very premature. She gave birth to 6 little ones, but 4 of the 6 didn’t make it. We still have 2 who are little fighters! As with us humans, premature babies aren’t finished developing and they need lots of extra help. Our vet says there isn’t much else we can do other than what we are currently besides pray, but that oxygen can help since their underdeveloped lungs aren’t strong enough to get everything they need. So we are reaching out! We need help finding an oxygen concentrator. It can be in any condition and any size, as long as it works! We aren’t asking for a donation, we will gladly pay a reasonable price (please don’t take advantage of our desperation lol), but donations are also accepted! (We do currently have one concentrator between the two locations as these are pricey pieces of equipment, but it’s currently in use for critical wildlife and unfortunately the two cannot share habitats, and are at opposite MW locations 🤦🏻♀️) If you or anyone you know has an oxygen concentrator that is no longer needed, please reach out! The closer to our South Shore, Ky location the better, but we are willing to do what we can to help these babies.
UPDATE: Sadly we have lost both babies. They gave it their all for a full 24 hours but their little bodies just weren’t ready 💔

They are really start to develop their little personalities and play with each other. This is one of my favorite parts of what I do, watching these babies learn to play and interact with people and each other. I could sit and watch them for hours. 😍
I call this an ACCOMPLISHED mission! When moms reject their babies and we are asked to help, I always request mom stay too. 9/10 There are ways to help a mom accept her babies. We specialize in special cases! Don't take those babies off the mom. Lwt us work with them first.

Today Momma Poppy was acting uncomfortable. She's been showing some pre-labor signs. I got an Ultrasound to check in on the babies and was greeted with lots of healthy heartbeats! How many little fluttering hearts can you count in this short clip?
I can't wait to meet them! 😍
If you were ever considering a Dark Red Standard Poodle. My client has lots to choose from! This baby has been staying with me and is my little shadow. He was down at the creek with me today burning brush in the Barrel. He really is a wonderful baby boy! Never cries when he is alone. Kennel trained already also. Message us. ☺️

Poppy the Basset was holding a secret! 🫣 And I'm over the moon excited! If you know me you know Bassets are my weakness, and we currently don't have any in care and it makes me sad.
When we did a confirmation ultrasound on Poppy, we didn't see any babies. So we just marked her down as a miss and better luck next time. Well, being a first-time mom she didn't show right away. But now recently started looking a bit "Chunky". Trying not to fat shame her went in to investigate once she started developing mammary glands. And no diet is needed for this momma! 😍😍 We are expecting! And soon!
Poppy is a red/white basset. We are expecting reds and lemons! Don't miss out on this litter. The next planned litter will be in December.
