Well, our very first full AHA show season has officially come to an end! We had a great string of horses that traveled with us throughout the summer to various shows across New York, PA, and all the way down to Virginia! We have an absolutely wonderful group of clients who not only trust us with their horses’ training, but also with their coaching at shows! We cannot thank everyone enough for their support and trust in us over the summer, we couldn’t do what we do without you!

We can’t thank Empire State Arabian Horse Association (ESAHA), Arabian Horse Association of NY - AHANY, PA Arabian Games, East Coast Championships, and Silver Spur Horse Show enough for amazingly run, fun, and enjoyable horse shows!

We are looking forward to getting to work this winter so that we can hit the show ring next year with bigger and better goals than ever!

We had a great time at the Summer in CNY Horse Show Series show at Galemont Farm LLC today! Moks and Liam were the most perfect boys (as always!) and our riders had some excellent rounds bringing home some awesome ribbons!

Mr. Hunter Stone and Liam were 5th in all three of their classes, with excellent flat work and his best poles round to date! He nailed his diagonals, and handled his ring space perfectly! Couldn’t be more proud of this duo!

Ashtyn Murphy and Moks took the walk trot poles by storm! Winning her first ever blue ribbon in the Eq on the flat, and following that with two seconds in her hunter undersaddle and over the poles! She ended up reserve champion for the division! This team looked amazing in the ring and we are so proud they have come this year!

Last, but never least, Sara Segouin made her re-debut into the horse show ring after nearly 15 years, and she killed it! Bringing home 3rd, 4th and 5th in the walk trot crossrails, we could not have asked for anything more for her first show back! With beautiful rounds over fences, and excellently piloted flat classes, she accomplished all the goals set for her!

We had a wonderful day and are so proud all of our horses and riders!

We are home from our very first East Coast Championship Show, and it was a blast! We took a small string of only 3 horses and riders, but they held their own and had excellent results all weekend!

Jolene Zaia-Logel’s Koweta So Charmed was an absolute rock star in every class he entered, bringing home Top Five placings in both his Sport Horse in Hand classes with Kevin Schenck out of deep classes! He was also East Coast Reserve Champion in the Arabian Halter Geldings with Kevin.

We got Jolene in the ring with her horse for the very first time in the Amateur Arabian Halter Geldings, and they left the ring with a Top Five! So proud of this pair, and can’t wait to see them under saddle next season!

As usual, Kevin’s Marque of Klass rode his little heart out for both Kevin and Jolene! Jolene piloted Moks around some very competitive Amateur Western Pleasure classes, laying down some beautiful rides! This pair has come a long ways in just a couple months!

Kevin and Moks laid down some of their best rides in the Arabian Ranch Rail and Ranch Riding earning them East Coast Champion and Reserve Champion respectively!!

Unfortunately, Samantha Gleason and Azhaar’s show season came to an abrupt end with an injury occurring in their very first class, but we are proud of Sam’s resilience and care for her horse, even in the face of disappointment! They’ll be back and better than ever next season, but for now, time to rest!

We are incredibly proud of all of our horses and riders this weekend, and we can’t wait for next year!

Is working on gaining weight and muscle and coming along nicely! Would make a lovely low level hunter, loves to jump but would prefer to stay at the lower levels. Safe, safe, safe! No spook, no buck, no bolt. An adult amateur or junior’s dream!

Currently in training to get back in shape and to restart her as she is still very green, but owner is willing to let her go before she’s finished to free up a stall! Easy enough for an amateur or a junior to finish with a trainer!

What a weekend! This Mother’s Day we took some of the kiddos to Oriskany Creek Farm and everyone did super!

Paisley and Libby took on the lead line, taking home 2 firsts, a second, and champion, while looking adorable doing it! Cannot wait to see this pair grow!

Hunter competed for his very first horse show on Moks in the Walk Trot! He handled his nerves, got it done, and came home with some great ribbons!! So proud of this duo in their horse show debut!

Zoey took Libby around the Walk Trot for the first time and exceeded all expectations! This tiny pair had excellent placings in their pole courses and looked just adorable on the flat! Look out for this pair, they’re bound for great things this summer!

Lastly, Annie and Liam took on the Walk Trot crossrails for the first time together! They were absolutely excellent over the fences, bringing home second in both courses, and looked fabulous on the rail in a big class!

We are so proud of all of our riders and horses! Thank you to all of the horse show moms that spent their Mother’s Day with us, and thank you to Sara Boudreau and Shaunna Arnold for all of the fabulous photos! As always, a special thank you to Kevin Schenck for helping me keep all of these crazy kids and ponies in line, I couldn’t do it without you!

She is still quite green for her age, as she was started a little late in life, due to no fault of her own. Ride her English or western, she isn’t picky, and would make a great sport horse or even ranch prospect! We had a very fun and successful weekend at the Empire State Arabian Horse Association (ESAHA) spring horse show!! We took 6 horses and 3 riders, all of which exceeded expectations!! Here are some of the highlights:

Grace Yeary and Candice Beeles Zaia’s Shaahira VA took on the Sport Horse ring, winning their championship and never placing below second! Shay blew any and all expectations out of the water, and took to the horse show like a fish to water! Thank you Candi for trusting us with your lovely mare!

Kevin Schenck took Jolene Zaia-Logel’s Koweta’s So Charmed on a trip to school around and get used to the horse show life! He settled right in and schooled around well! We are excited for this young horse’s future! He will be one to watch!

Samantha Gleason and her Azhaar got back in the show ring this weekend after Sam being away at college and they crushed it! Sam stepped out of her comfort zone and took Azhaar into the halter ring for the first time since he was a young horse, and they looked excellent! They also made their way around the hunter ring with more than 10 other horses, with great placings all weekend! Proud of this team and excited for Sam to be home for the summer!

Tori Gleason piloted Wendi Snook’s Super J Notabili T and Grace Yeary’s SA Ivanas Fortune around the Walk Trot! Tori had top ribbons all weekend, winning her Championship on Liam, and taking Reserve on Tigger! Incredibly proud of this young lady and all the hard work she has put in over the last couple of weeks to get ready for this show, and how well she rode all weekend!

Melissa Stanford took Super J Notabili T into the Western Dressage ring, with better scores that we could have even hoped for! Melissa hasn’t shown in 40 years, and didn’t look like she’d been out of it for even a week. With beautifully ridden tests and lovely rail work, we are so proud to have this team in the barn and can’t wait to watch them progress!

Grace’s SA Ivanas Fortune was excellent in the sport horse ring, took second in the Jackpot, and had top ribbons all weekend!

Kevin’s Marque of Klass took on the Western Pleasure and the Ranch Rail and was excellent as always! He also took second in his Jackpot class and had top ribbons in all of his classes!

Last, but of course never least, Melissa’s daughter, Paisley, and Liam took to the headline ring!!! They were the most adorable pair and brought home a blue!

We are beyond proud of all our horses and riders, now onto Eastern Classic!!

We had a super fun and successful first outing for our lesson ponies today at Oriskany Creek Farm!

Liam jumped around the 2’ Hopeful Hunters in preparation for his hunter hack debut at the Empire State Arabian Horse Association (ESAHA) show in two weeks! As always, he was perfect as can be and came away with a second!

Miss Libby had her first show outing in many years, to prepare for packing the kiddos around the walk trot later this summer! She was excellent and acted like she hadn’t been out of the game a day!

Excited to see these two with the kids this summer!

Our first Easter Egg Hunt and Open House was a huge success! We had a great time watching the kiddos run around the farm collecting eggs, petting the horses, and taking pictures with the Easter bunny! Thank you to everyone who came out and for all of our wonderful lesson parents who pitched in to help! We can’t wait to do it again next year!

It’s not too late to get your horse into training before this show season is in full swing! We have a couple of training stalls coming available April 1st!

We have two trainers onsite, one specializing in western pleasure and the other in the hunters and jumpers, both with training availability! This weekend we kicked off our show season at the Champions Center in Ohio! We took Sara Eveleigh’s Good N Fabyoulous and Jolene Zaia-Logel’s Koweta’s So Charmed to make their horse show debut, as well as our very own Marque of Klass to kick off his season!

Good N Fabyoulous and Grace made their debut in the hunter under saddle, equitation, halter, and pleasure! With classes of 20+ horses and busy schooling rings, Myles handled everything like a pro!

Koweta’s So Charmed and Kevin entered the Non stock pleasure, bringing home the blue under both judges, and second and fourth in the Non stock halter! We are very impressed with this young horse!

Lastly, Moks did his thing in the western pleasure, winning under both judges in the Non Stock and holding his own in a large field of AQHA pleasure horses!

We are thrilled with how this season started and can’t wait for the rest of the year!
