Hi all! Your donations have helped feed over 50 families through local charities, with any donations I cannot personally distribute during lockdown going to the Soi Dog Foundation.

I continue to feed the cats and dogs on my street where I can still go and within curfew restrictions. Here is a video of the nightly cat feeding at a local “feed spot,” places where stray animals gather because locals drop off food.

Your giving brings Thai families and critters food and joy in a time like this. And feeding the cats personally gives me a lot of joy.

Animal hugs during this time fill the soul. Thank you all so much for the continued donations. A small clip of a dog feed spot near the gym. Loving on this three-legged good boi. 12/10 will pet and feed every day, thanks to the supporters!

Korp Kuhn kaa (thank you!) from the bottom of our hearts to all of our donors so far! This is my “Thai Mom,” aka the restaurant owner next to the gym with all of the lovely kittens. She was so grateful that she cried, then I cried, then we all cried. Your small contributions add up. And you have helped more than you know just by sending five or ten bucks here and there. 🤗🙏🇹🇭❤️

First family to get a donation! Two weeks of rice and dog food for less than $10. At a time when smiles are in short supply, it’s time to bring some smiles to “the land of smiles” (aka Thailand).

As many of you know, Phuket is a tourist town. It relies heavily on the kind of businesses that are closed right now to survive. Restaurants, massage, gyms, entertainment venues, dive shops, bars - these are what Phuket is made of.

Many of the people here rely on this income to feed their families each week and are already in dire need of any help they can get. Not everyone has resources to have a backup plan. Not everyone has enough money for clean water or rice or essentials.

Additionally, as people close up shops and restaurants, many animals that rely on scraps quickly begin to starve.

Many businesses are in jeopardy of disappearing forever. Many humans and animals are already hungry.

I want to help make sure both my human and animal neighbors are fed. As an American, I come from a country of plenty with full fridges and bellies. I owe it to the Thai people to spread the wealth.

This photo shows just how much human, cat, and dog food can be bought for only $20. I will be taking donations directly from now until the end of this crisis to distribute food to my neighborhood. I will send anyone who donates personalized footage of these deliveries and animal feedings.

Moreover, if anyone is staying near me in Bang Tao and needs help just getting by - especially my Thai friends - please reach out. We are in this together and will make this work together.
