I don’t have it in me to write everything im feeling, thinking and that I told her when I had to say goodbye to the love of my life yesterday. I am incredibly sad, angry and lost. To the girl who gave me purpose at a time in my life when I didn’t think I had any, thank you. What you gave me 9 years ago and still today I could never, ever give back to you even though I tried. I am so sorry for any pain you experienced and how it ended. You deserved better. I’ve been asked “what would bring me peace or make me feel slightly better right now” and the answer is you. Your demanding, clingy, highly intelligent adorably kissable chubby butt. The pup that made me a dog mom and actually made me feel like a mom. My soulmate. Harley Thursday early evening enjoying the warmer weather made me smile 😊. We noticed expected side effects of the new meds Friday morning which is wobbliness, mostly with her back legs causing her to fall. It’s still happening today. Her front left leg never fully developed and her back left leg does not bend (it’s basically a kick stand). However, as you can see here and throughout other posts, she does not let that slow her down! She embraces her disabilities with such resilience, grit and an innocence that is so pure and beautiful.
