Taking on the fat cats isn’t easy, take it from me. Giant corporations have resources, lawyers and influence which is both incredibly anxiety inducing and intimidating.

But when you believe in your cause, you have to stand by the truth and shout it out loud!

Here’s what I’ve learned from challenging the giants of the pet food industry over the past 12 months:

🌍 IT’S NOT JUST PET FOOD. Battling industry giants is universal 🌐. Many industries face similar challenges, where big corporations prioritize profits over people (or pets). I’ve connected with founders who are shaking things up and losing sleep like me. It’s the same story over and over...

⚖️ THEY HAVE LAWYERS... LOTS OF LAWYERS. Big players expertly protect their interests. The constant threat of legal action was overwhelming, causing sleepless nights. But when you’re passionate, you have to face that fear head-on. It’s okay to feel intimidated—as long as you don’t let it silence you.

📰 THE PRESS: FRIEND OR FOE? Navigating media is like walking a tightrope while juggling flaming torches 🔥🎪. One day you’re accused of misinformation; the next, you’re the underdog hero. It can reinforce the status quo but also amplify your message. I’m grateful for the positive coverage from journalists uncovering the truth. Landing a double-page spread in the Daily Mail was a game changer!

💓 IT’S EMOTIONAL. Pets are family. Telling pet parents they’ve been misled about their dog’s food is like saying you didn’t love the bride’s dress—you’ll get a strong reaction. People will react emotionally, positively or negatively. Be prepared for both immense support and backlash.

🗣️ SPEAKING OUT EMPOWERS OTHERS. Not everyone has a platform, but I’m lucky I do. By speaking up, I found thousands who wanted to voice their concerns but couldn’t. I felt like a lone wolf 🌙, but when over 41,000 amazing people (and their dogs) joined me, I knew others cared deeply.

When one person speaks out, it feels lonely—but together, we become a movement.

I’m so proud of everyone who’s joined me on this WiLD PACK journey.

We’re not just building a business; we’re challenging an industry.

And this is just the beginning!

The Kibble Cartel controls more than just what goes into your dog’s bowl – they influence the science behind what we think is good for our pets. 🔬🥼🧬🧪

Nestlé and Mars own the largest pet research centres in the world. And when pet food giants fund research, there are major red flags 🚩:

🤔 Conflict of Interest – How can we trust the research when it’s paid for by the very companies profiting from its results?

🎲 Biassed Studies – Selective reporting, grain safety tests, and pressure on scientists to deliver favourable outcomes all come into play.

📉 Lack of Independent Research – With very little public funding, genuinely independent studies are incredibly rare.

Our dogs deserve better than manipulated science. We’re pushing for greater transparency and truly independent research. It’s time to break the grip of the Kibble Cartel and put our pets' health first! 🐶💥

A SNEAKY LITTLE MOVE FROM PURINA: 🤫🎭

Purina has (ever-so-quietly) changed their packaging. ✨📦

They’ve removed some of the false claims from the front of their ultra-processed BAKERS Meaty Meals product… Effectively admitting that they have been misleading customers… 😳🚫

But they haven’t managed to catch them all… 🧐 Whilst they’ve made the changes on their own website and across some major retailers - the product is still mislabelled on various other sites, including Amazon. 🛒❌

This breaks UK Pet Food’s own rules on labelling - but will they do anything about it? 🤔⚖️

We’re making waves, and they’re getting nervous 🌊😬

📰 The Daily Mail has picked up our story, revealing how The Kibble Cartel’s misleading marketing and profit-driven motives are harming our pets’ health 🐾✨

For too long, the big players at UK Pet Food and their pals at Nestlé Purina have hidden behind misleading marketing, like labelling products as ‘complete and balanced’ despite using low-quality ingredients, and profit-driven motives, all while our pets pay the price. 💸😡

Despite making a statement, UK Pet Food have barely begun to address the issues we’ve raised.

THEY ARE YET TO ADDRESS THAT:
💷 The Kibble Cartel provide most of the funding for UK Pet Food.

🏢 The President of FEDIAF (which oversees UK Pet Food in Europe) is also the Head of Marketing at Nestlé Purina.

🔬 Nestlé and Mars creates a majority of the research in the pet food industry

This fight is about more than just one dog. 🐕 It’s about demanding transparency and putting pet health first, and money second.

We’re calling out the organisations who think it’s okay to sell ultra-processed junk to our pets.

We’re just getting started, and we’re thrilled that more eyes are finally on this issue. 👀🔥

What I’ve discovered since entering the shadowy world of pet food has left me both stunned and disgusted…a shocking story of utter corruption.

I applied for Wild Pack to join UK Pet Food—the governing body for manufacturers and suppliers—and we were REJECTED. 😮

The reason for the rejection is quite unbelievable: earlier this year, over 40,000 of you joined me in signing a petition to ban harmful glycotoxins found in some ultra-processed kibble—chemicals linked to cancer, diabetes, and kidney failure in our beloved dogs.

The regulator (we will call them the Kibble Cartel from now on) didn’t like that one bit.

I have since uncovered that a handful of major corporations dominate 90% of global pet food sales, I’ve gathered evidence that they control everything from production to regulation. They’ve even established ties with some vets and regulators. 😤 some of them pay up to £2million a year to be a member of the racket called UK Pet Food.

But here’s the thing 🗣️ it is not that easy to silence 40,000 people who passionately care about the health of their dogs.

Some (not so) porky pies 🤥 The Kibble Cartel can be very creative with their language 🧑🏻‍🎨️ Whether they’re referring to powdered carcasses as ‘beef’ or UHT bulking agents as ‘country vegetables’, they’re pretty liberal with their terminology 🤔 Now, UK Pet Food claims it doesn’t like ‘deliberate misinformation’ 👎🏼… unless it helps to make sales, I guess? 🤑👍🏼
