Will is a Harvard Educated Canine Cognition Expert. He is a Dog Behaviorist and, to this date, one of only four hundred seventy-four Internationally Certified Behavior Consultants and Certified Professional Dog Trainers to have both certifications through the CCPDT.; Mr. Bangura is ranked as one of the Country’s Top 50 Dog Professionals. Will is also a Fear Free Certified Professional, and Will is a Supporting Member of the IAABC, The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and a Professional Member of the APDT, The Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Will is also a Professional Member of The Pet Professional Guild, an International Association of Pet Professionals That Are Committed to Science-Based, Evidenced-Based Force Free Training that is Free of Fear, Pain, and Intimidation and Puts The Dogs Welfare First. Will has been “Dancing with Dogs” since 1975, for over 47 years. At the young age of 9, back in 1975, He was competing, showing, and titling dogs in AKC Dog Obedience Matches as a Junior Handler. Will has been training dogs with behavior problems professionally for 31 years. He Specializes in the most difficult Dog Behavior Problems, Extreme Dog Aggression, Separation Anxiety and Severe Anxiety Disorders in dogs, Ritualistic and Obsessive-Compulsive dog behavior, and Extremely Fearful and Phobic Dogs. Will has decades of experience treating some of dogs’ most severe behavior problems. He is an often sought-out expert by other behavior consultants, dog trainers, and veterinarians. He has been an expert witness in dog aggression cases and an often called-upon dog behavior expert for local and national news outlets. Will is also a Veteran of service in the United States Army. Will’s Formal education rests in both Undergraduate and Graduate Work in Behavioral Psychology, graduate-level studies in Chemistry, Neurochemistry, the Biological Basis of Behavior, and Neuropsychopharmacology. In 2011 Will continued his education through Harvard University in Canine Cognition. Will’s current areas of interest and Research are The Effects of Diet, Nutrition, and how Nutraceutical Supplementation can affect Animal Behavior. He is also a lifetime student of anything behavior, including constantly taking continuing education courses in behavior and subscribing to many peer review journals on animal behavior, veterinary behavior medicine, and other scientific research journals. Will is also the President and Founder of Phoenix Dog Training. He Is also the founder and CEO of Pet Scientifics LLC, a company dedicated to researching and developing behavioral support supplements and Nutraceuticals for companion animals, and the Developer of a Dog Anxiety Calming Aid, CALM DOGS. In addition, Will has a National Canine Behavior Consultation Business that is part of DogBehaviorist.com. In 2022 Will's business was nominated for the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics. He is also well known in Arizona as he was the host of Arizona’s only radio show on pet behavior for several years on 1100 KFNX Radio in Phoenix. . Expose (desensitize) your dog to EVERYTHING immediately. If you can’t keep your dog in your eye site, crate your dog until fully trained.
