Gloria: Gloria came to me after Spork’s death. She is the brightest light. She’s wild. She’s weird. She’s down to clown. Gloria is the nosey neighbor. She’s your favorite hype man.

Gloria joined the pack 3ish weeks ago when Spork passed. She quickly made an impact. I had the pleasure of having her 4-5x a week. She’s a character.

Today after her visit I was informed she’s moving back to NY. I immediately regretted being so busy I never shared her pics. So here they are.

Gloria I wish you nothing but the absolute best in your new life in NY.

Spork: brother to Beeker. Cousin to Sam. Lover of all people. Just happy to be here kind of guy

Spork became a client earlier this year. I was quickly made aware of his cancer diagnosis. He had similar tumors to our business founder Brouse. Spork was friends with everyone. He would greet you with a shoe or 4 in his mouth. He was the happiest dog I’ve ever met. A true breath of fresh air. This boy was bothered by nothing and refused to be rushed on walks. He was a chill dude in a loose mood.

A few weeks ago I walked in to Spork’s house to find him in distress. I rushed him to the ER where his mom (who’s a human nurse and total badass) met us. We lost Spork that afternoon to cancer.

Spork’s passing was hard on me and his siblings. If you know me, you know how hard this experience was. There truly was no kinder soul than Spork. It didn’t matter where he was. He’d pick up a rock to show you how excited he was that you were there. Spork loved so so so fiercely. Even when he was in the ER he wagged his tail and gave kisses.

I can never express how lucky and grateful I am to have known and loved Spork.

Rest in peace Spork.

I’ve been so busy I’ve slacked on welcome and departure posts. Please bear with me as the next posts will highlight some of our new clients and some of ours biggest loses.
I know this job seems like rainbows and slobbery kisses but it’s much more than that. Balancing each personality and acclimating dogs to a pack and a a task.
I’ve been so blessed with the best kiddos. I’ll reserve the next posts to honor our most recent gains and loses.

To every client I hope you know your dogs are my world.i love each of you so much.

The founders of DŌG are competing in the annual tomato festival pet costume contest.

This benefits East C.A.N. Which is a wonderful pet advocacy and welfare program. They’re a godsend to our area.

Each vote is $1 and you need to add “brouse/tetios” when submitting so they know who you’re voting for.

Shout out to Bodie’s mom who sent us videos of the fireworks last night! She got some great shots!

We spent the day wrestling, testing out the splash pad, enjoying treats, and having fun.
We moved the fun inside for an early dinner and night of movies and wrestling. With the help of the TV, fans, dehumidifiers, noise machine, and curtains, we blocked the fireworks out for a fear free night of fun!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!

Started our holiday with a crowd favorite: Waffle House at home
Splash pad and patriotic pupsicles to follow.

We will move the fun inside just before sundown and end our day with movies, barkuterie, and games.

Starting today ALL clients will have to pay deposits for ALL services.
In 24 hours I have had $540 in cancellations for this week. Not only is this hard on me financially it’s unfair to other clients who were turned down due to me being at capacity.
Please be considerate when booking and cancelling.
The cancellation policy (50%) will also be strictly enforced.
Please understand this is not intended to be harsh or to punish anyone. It is hard to survive and make ends meet when you lose $540 in 24 hours. I’ve been very lenient with deposits and cancellations and it’s come at my expense. I cannot keep our doors open or provide adequate care for my own dog if I continue to be lax with payment. I understanding needing to cancel last minute. I also ask that you understand I am a small business providing boutique care. When you book a service, you are taking up a spot another paying customer would’ve filled.

Turns out my car battery died due to heat. The battery is in good condition but at 25%.
Let this be a reminder of how intense our recent heat is. If it can kill a battery it can kill your pets. Keep them inside!

And we’re back up and running!

Taking a break from the heat wave. I originally planned to have the ice cream social yesterday BUT instead had a spigot installed! Now we’ll have another way to stay cool in nashville heat. Excited to share some silly sprinkler adventures soon!
