🔥🐾 Hot pavement = burned paws.

On a sunny 90°F day, the pavement can reach over 140°F — hot enough to cause burns in seconds!

Before walking your pet, try the 7-second rule:

Place the back of your hand on the pavement. If you can’t hold it there for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your pet’s paws.

✅ Walk early in the morning or after sunset
✅ Stick to grass or shaded paths
✅ Consider paw protection like booties if needed

Your pet’s paws are sensitive — let’s keep them safe this summer!
