🐾 Pet Myths vs. Facts — Let’s Set the Record Straight! 🐾
When it comes to caring for our furry friends, there’s a LOT of advice out there — but not all of it is true. 👀
We’re busting some of the most common pet myths and sharing the real facts that every pet parent should know!
🚫 “A wagging tail always means a dog is happy.”
✅ Not always! Tail wagging can also signal stress or uncertainty depending on the movement and position.
🚫 “Cats always land on their feet.”
✅ They often do — but not always. Falls can still cause serious injuries!
🚫 “Dogs eat grass because they’re sick.”
✅ Not necessarily. Many dogs just like the texture or taste!
🚫 “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
✅ You absolutely can — and you should! Mental stimulation is great for senior pets.
🚫 “Microchipping isn’t necessary if my pet wears a collar.”
✅ Microchips are a backup for when collars fall off — and they drastically increase the chances of being reunited if your pet goes missing.
