We specialise in training racehorses that have retired sound from racing, and prepare them, to turn their hooves to a new life in eventing, showjumping,dressage or general riding. Advertising on behalf of his owner. The lovely Edi who we had in for retraining last year is now looking for a new home as his current owner has had a change in circumstances 🏠 He is a LEGEND!

Edi - the pony racehorse! 🥹❤️ Our uncomplicated, undemanding, happy go lucky boy!

Approx 15hh, 4 year old gelding. Anyone ever dreamed of owning an ex race horse who can pass as a pony? This is your lad. Edi raced, and wasn’t half bad (considering he is half the size of his fellow competitors). He did his dues, made his money and fell out of love with racing. He retired sound, with no vices, and still as adorable as ever!

To ride, we are yet to find something he won’t do. He is super easy, and really is anyone’s ride. He will happily navigate along on the end of the buckle. He is so so fun and compact, and you could totally imagine him cantering into a fence when he is older. He’s got unlimited potential. We have ridden him bare back, side saddle, half asleep- and he is always the same - calm as a cucumber! 😎 Our little dinky friend is the best way to describe this diamond - which is problematic as all the grooms want to keep him💎

To handle, he is legendary! Easy peasy lemon squeezy. He has perfect manners, and loves a snuggle .. he will lick you to death👅

For anyone looking for a smaller ex race horse, without fizz or silliness - get in touch. The world is this little dudes oyster and we can’t wait to see where he ends up! He wants a best friend, fuss and attention - in return you’ll get a horse that will go to the ends of the earth to please you 🥹❤️

No novices or happy hackers… Due to his age, he needs someone with experience and confidence to ensure he becomes the best version of himself.

Can be hesitant to be clipped but he gets over this with trust and time.

Super brave eventing boy 💎

15.2hh, 8 year old gelding. He is well put together, super mover, exceptional paces with a very good trot, an excellent canter and an even better jump.

Having retired at the end of 2022, having some time down and has since been retrained slowly and correctly.

He is a genuine horse with all the potencial to be a superb eventer for someone to produce. He will equally be a brave and talented show jumper. He is as brave as brass when it comes to jumping - pops fillers and ‘scaries’ ❤️ Someone will sweep up all the ROR frillies with this guy 🥹

He hacks out sweetly. Is happy to be infront or behind, and has seen traffic.

Freddie loves attention and fuss. Snuggles and cuddles all day long. Loves other horses, his humans and of course, a treat or 5.

He will be best suited to a competition or bigger yard, as he finds comfort in having friends around. He loves having company. Unfortunately our yard only has one other horse who is out and about - which doesn’t suit this dude - or he would not be up for sale🩵

This good looking boy, is ready to crack on and have a summer of adventures and outings.

Looking for a capable / and or perhaps competitive rider looking for something special to put their stamp on and educate him further- therefore no novices please.

Cooper - ginger pet

6 year old, approx 16hh kindest, placid , safest soul. Came to me straight off the track in March ‘23 to find a new home, and never left 🥹❤️ He stole my heart and stayed. Unfortunately due to time limitations- it’s time for him to find his amazing forever home 😢

Cooper spent the last year venturing out with me to baby dressage, far and wide. We even went to Aintree ROR nationals and he was just a dude. Warm up rings, international arena, crowds, music, food trucks - all no bother for Mr Cooper Scooper 💜He was far more interested in stealing the stewards bacon, rolls and cups of tea. He is a delight to take out, always consistent, calm, easy and Uber brave - never silly ❤️

Hacking is his happy place. he loves exploring and catching up on the gossips of the world. Machinery, tractors, animals, pigeons he really is not bothered and will happily lead or slot in behind.

He’s the type of horse that does not need to be ridden every day of his life - super convenient. In fact, hop on him after a week of not riding him and hack him round the block, and he is the same safe Cooper.

Over the winter, he had a well-deserved staycation. It’s safe to say he is now fat and flourishing❤️ is back in hacking and just started schooling, so someone will need to carry on producing him as he is, after all still green ❤️ or perhaps someone is just after a mother daughter family share to hack the countryside and he would have no objections to that either❤️

Cooper would love, nothing more than to be a family pet - pampered and fussed over and in return, you will get a horse that looks after rider like gold 🍯 he likes to think he is a dog on the ground so someone who doesn’t mind an oversized labrador would be ideal😅🙈

Introducing Boo - our bright bay boy with a heart of gold🥹

5 year old, approx 16hh gelding who has totally won our hearts. 👼 Boo did show promise as a race horse … in his first couple races, before he got a feel for the slow lane and decided it was way easier than exerting too much effort 🙈

To ride, Boo is a gent. You could save money on reins with this boy, as you really don’t need them. Always snaffle mouthed and not strong at all - even if you skip arm day at the gym! He floats around the school very elegantly, and is well balanced with correct paces. Boo’s is a blank canvas who is super willing to learn, and take feedback on board with no back chat or mumbled words. He is an utter sweetheart who has the world at his feet. Any discipline is not out of reach with his new best friend. He could be produced to event, show jump, show (have you seen his little blaze), stressage or even riding club - a potential all round legend. He wouldn’t care if you are a competitive or non competitive home, as long as you tell him he is handsome. If you have love to give, his heart is yours 🥰

On the ground, he is well mannered and polite. At first he was shy when he came to us, and didn’t know if he was allowed to be in your reach, but that is now far forgotten. He greets us with a little whiny each morning and is super happy to see us. His favourite leisurely activity is the field, where he keeps watch over his sheep, is body guard to the pigs, and BFFs with our permanent ginge TB. The more time this lad has out, the bigger his smile grows. With the right PJs and din din, he wouldn’t even mind living out.

make you feel at ease, is no fuss and has his heart to give - look no further than this dude.

We can’t wait to see him blossom in his new home, he truly is going to be someone’s heart horse ❤️

As you may have seen, we have been very quiet on the socials lately. Horses are filled with many ups and some downs, and sadly the past couple weeks have been a hard time for the Equine Nox team.

After weeks of nursing the kindest, bravest little soul, Bean, after he had a freak accident in the field, we sadly had to make one of the hardest decisions a horse owner can face, and send him to run free in the sky. We are beyond sad that he wasn’t able end up in one of your loving homes, but his injuries were life changing and not able to be fixed, no matter how hard we tried 🤍

We feel it is important to show that horses are not always sunshine and rainbows and while they bring us here at Equine nox a hell of a lot of joy, they can also be the biggest heart breakers 🤍

I wanted to personally thank my special Equine Nox Team who dedicated their hearts and souls around the clock to cater for Beans needs, and kept holding his hoof the whole way through his time with us, even to the very end. If love could have saved him, he would have had no issue 🤍 And to our vets, Beth in particular who checked in on our special boy daily, and listened to our many hours of sobbing and in circle discussions.

We have some very special souls to advertise as they deserve and are ready for their new chapters, but I didn’t want to do that without shining the light on one of the most gentle creatures we have ever met, who has broken all of our hearts 🤍 We will get through the inbox soon, we are not intentionally ignoring anyone.

Bean - the hoof prints you have left in all of our hearts will never disappear. Rest easy little man 🤍

Cappa - the total legend 🥹

Post card perfect 16.1hh Approx, 9 year old solid gelding. This total dude has been a grand servant, and has been his owner and trainers sun, moon and stars. ❤️ He has given his heart to racing, not taken a sick note, or lame step and has hung up his racing shoes and is now searching for his best friend 🥰

Cappa is the type of horse that just makes you smile like a Cheshire Cat 🐱 To ride, he is a gentlemen. He will happily plod along in the slow lane, pretending he wasn’t a legendary race horse. To school he is more push than pull, and he LOVES his hacking. This is a real sane and sensible dude! 🥹 He is just learning to come into a frame, but have you seen his neck… it’s going to take a while until he is able to do yoga downward dog! His peachy bottom gives him the most comfortable arm chair paces! 🍑

On the ground, he would very much like to be in your back pocket! We have spent some time reminding him that we are smaller than him, and although we love his nuzzles and cuddles, that he has to respect some sort of covid distance guidelines😆 Can you tell he has got under our skins?

Cappa is looking for the ritz of homes, and he really has earned it. 💎 This boy has so much potential! He would happily suit a home who wants to bumble round with a best friend, an experienced mother daughter team or equally would love a home who wants to do a bit more and teach him the world of dressage, showjumping, eventing or even showing!

Ziggy - Our perfect unicorn 🦄

Approx 15.3hh, potentially 16hh on his tippy toes, 3 year old grey gelding, with a laid back jack temperament.

This boy has raced, so is ROR eligible, but when we saw him we had to plead the race trainer to let him hang up his race plates and let him come to us for his new life in the left lane - I mean look at him - a real life “my little pony”🥰🥹 He is offered sound, injury and vice free - with the added bonus that he has had a full 5 stage vetting before we took him on, and passed with flying colours - we are happy to share this ❤️

He may be young, and have some growing and filling to do but my goodness is this boy a dude. He is a calm and collected ride, more push than pull, with three straight balanced paces and super confirmation😍 He is ultra comfortable to ride, like sitting on your sofa. You could deffo save your money and ride this boy gloveless, no threat of rein burn with this poppet. We would say that Ziggy is even easy enough for a teenager coming off ponies, a more mature soul wanting to kick it down a gear, or someone who wants a CRACKING horse to produce without a huge budget 🤩

On the ground he is a doddle, a gentlemen with stunning manners. He does love human attention so doesn’t care to be ignored, and will give you puppy dog eyes as if to say “Hello, love me”. 🥹 He lives in or out, wherever we put him he’s a happy chappy ❤️

First to see this handsome lad will take him home. To save the best for last, he is too posh to roll in the field- so you need not worry about a purple shampoo bill ❤️🦄🥹

Grace - our eventer in the making or future ROR show stealer⭐️

16.2HH approx, 4 year old super straight, super solid, super talented mare. But that’s a secret, she thinks she is a gelding- no one tell her 🤫

Grace raced a handful of times but was just too graceful for the racetrack. Why shift a gear when you can strut your stuff instead?🤷🏻‍♀️ Offered injury and vice free.. (besides her mane - it did get a really bad hair cut in racing - we can’t take credit for it 🙈)

This flashy girl is easy enough to be someone’s friendly pet, ror winner, riding club buddy, or hacking Amigo, but she is also well versed and talented enough to be a really smart eventer with someone continuing her education. She has beautiful paces, she’s scopey and she’s brave - some may call her a great catch! ❤️ A real diamond in the enough waiting to be transformed from a caterpillar (an absolute adorable one I’ll have you know) to a beautiful butterfly 🦋 She has been loose schooled over fences and she thought it was GREAT fun. She certainly knows where her feet are!!

On the ground, Grace is a real sweat heart. She’s not bargy or strong. She’s polite and keeps out of your space, perfect manners for a perfect princess 👸🏼

Grace is ready to go out and about. She’s fit, she’s healthy and she’s so willing. Watch this space for this girl, she’ll blow the judges socks off!

The more we do with this absolute treasure, the more her price will increase.

We’ve been so busy with our tinder match matching service, matching ponies with their best friends.. that it’s nice to sometimes look back and reflect on the perfect parings we have made 🥰❤️ So…. Here’s a little July recap, for all our new couples and their memories created in July!

⭐️ Sid - The little cockapoo has been living his days with his new best friend ( big and little 🥹), supporting the shampoo industry by continuously drenching his new mummies hair by licking her to death, and strolling around the field keeping her company whilst she looks for his lost shoes!!

⭐️ Cody- Is enjoying life in the slow lane, bimbling around with his new best friend and swapping squircles to circles 🥹

⭐️ Dave - Has been exploring his new surroundings, sight seeing around his local area and keeping his new best friend smiling like a Cheshire Cat🥹

⭐️ Blue - Has adapted very quickly to his new way of life lapping up hot solarium baths and his best new discovery haylage 🤣🥰

⭐️Annie - Has become the yard lapdog… whilst impressively strutting her stuff long reining and getting her mum bod growing!

⭐️ Vinnie - has become a dressage prodigy.. flicking his toes! Talent aside he’s enjoyed many cuddles and heart to hearts from his new best friend.

Casper - Our cuddle buddy!🥰

Approx 16hh, 3-year-old chestnut gelding, with puppy dog eyes and striking white socks. He raced twice however, the high-flying, fast-paced environment was not up to his taste and so he has found himself with us, living life in the slow lane. Postcard looks aside, this sweetheart is as polite as they come.

He has spent his time with us on a rambling vacation, not quite the Bahamas but close enough. 🏝️ He’s started to grow his peachy bum, and build his dad bod! He is a straightforward, no-complications type of ride. We have spent many hours showing him how fun this new side of life is, exploring pubs, villages, countryside and busy roads. This is the type of horse who just wants to please and will move mountains for you if you ask him. He is un-phased by anything and everything out, and we are yet to find something to make him spook. He is not strong, silly or fizzy. We have not schooled him in the ménage yet, as we just wanted him to learn how fun this new 3-year-old life is, adventuring, without pressure. He has loved every minute of it. 😍

On the ground, he is like an overgrown pony (a well-behaved one!). He will follow you around the yard in the hope you may slip him a treat... or three. He is a total time waster, as you end up fussing around with him for hours, plaiting his golden locks or telling him your life sagas. He lives in or out, alone or in a herd - he just loves life and is totally unfussed about where he is put ❤️ He hasn't fully understood yet that a lickit is in fact for licking and not head-scratching.

If you are expecting a full singing, and dancing fully pledged prancing pony, then he is not that... YET! His price reflects the fact that he is a 3-year-old who has all the basics and deserves the summer to finish growing into a big strong boy and for his new human to show him the ropes and teach him to flick his tootsies, flutter his eyes at showing judges and tuck his knees in over jumps. 🥹 Whoever gets this diamond will have an absolute pot of gold as he continues his education 👑 As you can tell, he has really touched our heart and got under our skin 😢

Blue - Everyone and anyones ride🥹

Approx 16.1hh, 4 year old gelding who has the best confirmation we’ve had in a long time. He raced just over 10 times, and to the trainer’s disappointment- he found watching the others gallop into the distance whilst he took a gentle jog, far more enjoyable 🤣💨

You will struggle to find a better family share, especially such a HANDSOME one 🥹 A wise head on strong young shoulders - a very striking, vice free, total uncomplicated ride. Blue is definitely one who doesn’t fizz up, is not silly, and doesn’t pull. He is happy to take life slowly, or push up a gear if you really want - he goes at your pace (think cruise control … set your speed and he will happily mooch around obligingly🤭).

On the ground, he is as polite as they come. His manners are impeccable and he is far more interested in giving you kisses, licks and cuddles than pulling you round. ‘Why misbehave when you can have fuss and a groom ‘ is his moto!’🤷🏻‍♀️

His only vice - he will get under your skin and you won’t want to part with him - GUARANTEED 🥹

Blue is ready to join a family and go out and about, or stay home bound - whatever you prefer, he’s not phased🙈.Unlimited potential for the future from an all rounder, transition from ponies to horses, teaching the husband or wife to ride, stressage diva (not a Valegro just yet, but with a bit of Charlotte patience he would give it his best shot), jumping super star, cross country champion or simply just your best friend ⭐️

Sid - our cockapoo pretending to a racehorse 🐶

This absolute dude is a 3 year old, 16/16.1 hh approx gelding on his tippy toes. Try as he must, the trainer tried his hardest to make Sid a race horse.. oats, haylage, encouragement.. but Sid was more of a roof down, sunglasses on type of dude who likes to cruise in the slow lane. 😎 For this reason he never actually made it onto the race track but is still ROR eligible - which suits us perfectly 😍

He is the biggest overgrown puppy dog who will follow you around (halter-less), because he ADORES humans ❤️🥹 WARNING - if you come to meet him you will take him home! 🏡 He is the most photogenic boy we have had, and stands like an Instagram model for hours. The showing and dressage judges will LOVE him.

To ride, he is a total steady Eddie - easy peasy lemon squeezy. He is happy to bimble, slow and steady at your pace. He is super soft in the mouth and has a can do attitude. He is so eager to please, and has a trainable attitude, with no fizz, sass or silliness. A super easy boy who has oddles of potential as he grows, for any discipline from fun rides, beach outings, a cuppa tea in your nans back garden to four feet off the ground cross country and show jumping. At the moment, Sid is bum high and has some growing to do in front as he muscles up. Think grasshopper… but as soon as his front end catches up, he is going to be a SUPER boy! 🥹🤎

He has hacked out alone and in company to grow his summer b***y 🍑 and is just a total bus 🚌.

They don’t make them with a better temperament and willing nature than him 😍

🦄Matched to his new best friend 🦄 Meet Geordie 😍 6yr old bay gelding, approx. 16.2h. Quality stamp, lots of bone, with a superb temperament! A great project 😃 He started as a timid boy, so we have taken some extra time with him, teaching him to trust people,and he has really excelled 🥰 He is a saint to handle, has impeccable ground manners and best of all loves cuddles and affection. No bother on the yard as he goes out alone, or with other horses(is a lover not a fighter 🥰) and can sleep in or out. He is a great ride with lovely paces, to develop. He is more of a push than a pull (speed really isn’t his preferred choice 🤣) however if he is asked too much at once, or pushed too quickly, he can feel anxious. He is a definite “ask and praise” character rather than “force and demand”. He really just wants to please. We think he would really shine with an experienced rider who is sympathetic and kind, who will really benefit from his willing nature, and grow his confidence. Will make a lovely all rounder and loves his hacking with friends 💙 Geordie says ‘ I’m looking to be your best friend, to put all my trust in you. He is more push than pull, can take life slowly or push up a gear if you really want . Sox is ready to start competing having been xc schooling and jumped around a course of jumps, proving to be not phased by anything. He happily hacks on the buckle, and has oodles off scope! He is non reactive with other horses running around him, always calm, is happy to be in or out, with company or without. Travels and loads well. Suited to being an all rounder, lovely hack, fun rides, transition from ponies to horses and will do well at dressage or jumping. His stunning looks also make him a serious showing prospect. Zulu🧸 Our impressive refined gentlemen, 8yo, approx 16.2h. Who says you can’t have easy, brave, bold, sensible and talented in the same horse🐴! He may be the needle in the haystack- a real non complicated all rounder, who loves his XC schooling ❤️ Zulu is a pleasure to do, is a lovely ride, easy to school, fun to jump, relaxing to hack and fun to do cross country on. He is learning to work in a frame, moves really well, has jumped a small course of coloured fences and particularly loves any xc course. He’s bold through the water and tackles any obstacles or fillers you show him. He is always snaffle mouthed, not strong, fizzy or silly but easy off the leg and not lazy. Hacks alone or in company, not worried if he’s behind, infront or alongside - not much phases him. Zulu says “ I would love a human who will appreciate my bravery, talent and straight forward nature. 🦄Matched to her new best friend 🦄 ALLY 💎 Our 15.1h bright bay oversized unicorn 🦄 3yrs old, with the calmest mentality. Ally has taken to her retraining like a duck to water. She is the easiet girl (easy is her middle name) to groom, tack, hack, school, load, bath, cuddle and generally pamper - especially loves having her long locks curled, and being made to sparkle 💎 She is fun to ride, snaffle mouthed and is not strong or silly. On her many meanders (alone or in company), she’s met cars, bicycles, prams, dogs, drones, sheep and cows, with no silliness. Popped some mini coloured fences, bravely. She has a heart of gold, loves everything about life. 🦄Matched to his new best friend 🦄 SLATES 🐴 Our bay gelding, approx. 16.2h ,12yo who is an impressive big boned boy 🦁 He is as cool as a cucumber, and a total dude! Ride him a little, ride him a lot, you get the same great temperament! He is so willing and trainable 👋 He’s our wise mentor, teaching the youngsters how to chill on the yard and in the field. Happy to be alone or in company, no high maintenance here 🤣👨‍🔧 Finished his racing career last year and has been having some well deserved time to fatten up and just be a horse. He schools in a steady, natural rhythm , very impressive mover and really comfortable to sit on. Never strong, fizzy or silly. We can see this gentleman strutting his moves for the dressage judges, or happily listening to your chats on a Sunday stroll, bumbling across the pastures. No vices. Only known injury is a past tendon sprain, to which he has recovered and is sound. An active mover with great impulsion; he is extremely flashy, is inquisitive and wants to please. Looking for a competent amateur who can further his education as he is a youngster who needs someone to show him the ropes. He has a talented jump on him, very impressive! Not silly or spooky. A cracker that likes to go out into the field in the morning, prefers to have company on the yard and likes to be part of the action. 😊 Amusing character who has us laughing most of the day. Unspoilt and a great project for the summer.
