A great project 😃 He started as a timid boy, so we have taken some extra time with him, teaching him to trust people,and he has really excelled 🥰 He is a saint to handle, has impeccable ground manners and best of all loves cuddles and affection. No bother on the yard as he goes out alone, or with other horses(is a lover not a fighter 🥰) and can sleep in or out. He is a great ride with lovely paces, to develop. He is more of a push than a pull (speed really isn’t his preferred choice 🤣) however if he is asked too much at once, or pushed too quickly, he can feel anxious. He is a definite “ask and praise” character rather than “force and demand”. He really just wants to please. We think he would really shine with an experienced rider who is sympathetic and kind, who will really benefit from his willing nature, and grow his confidence. Raced a couple of times but put more effort perfecting his jump than making up time on the hurdles🙈🤣 A compact chestnut boy with the kindest eye. He doesn’t see the need for speed 🤷‍♀️🤣 He is the perfect mother/ daughter share. Sox looks the part, acts the part, and does the part! A real gentle soul to cuddle & handle and a gentleman to ride. He is more push than pull, can take life slowly or push up a gear if you really want . Zulu🧸 Our impressive refined gentlemen, 8yo, approx 16.2h. Who says you can’t have easy, brave, bold, sensible and talented in the same horse🐴! He may be the needle in the haystack- a real non complicated all rounder, who loves his XC schooling ❤️ Zulu is a pleasure to do, is a lovely ride, easy to school, fun to jump, relaxing to hack and fun to do cross country on. He is learning to work in a frame, moves really well, has jumped a small course of coloured fences and particularly loves any xc course. He’s bold through the water and tackles any obstacles or fillers you show him. He is always snaffle mouthed, not strong, fizzy or silly but easy off the leg and not lazy. Hacks alone or in company, not worried if he’s behind, infront or alongside - not much phases him. Zulu says “ I would love a human who will appreciate my bravery, talent and straight forward nature. 🦄Matched to his new best friend 🦄 SLATES 🐴 Our bay gelding, approx. 16.2h ,12yo who is an impressive big boned boy 🦁 He is as cool as a cucumber, and a total dude! Ride him a little, ride him a lot, you get the same great temperament! He is so willing and trainable 👋 He’s our wise mentor, teaching the youngsters how to chill on the yard and in the field. Happy to be alone or in company, no high maintenance here 🤣👨‍🔧 Finished his racing career last year and has been having some well deserved time to fatten up and just be a horse. He schools in a steady, natural rhythm , very impressive mover and really comfortable to sit on. Never strong, fizzy or silly. We can see this gentleman strutting his moves for the dressage judges, or happily listening to your chats on a Sunday stroll, bumbling across the pastures. No vices. Only known injury is a past tendon sprain, to which he has recovered and is sound. He has started his schooling, has lovely active paces, holds a nice frame and moves well off the leg. He is very responsive and willing, just needs your quiet riding for him to strut his stuff. With racing all but a distant memory she has become our perfect student - who is the sweetest gal, always has a twinkle in her eye and has stolen everyone’s hearts 🥰 She is perfectly proportioned, well put together and with her beautiful wise head on young agile shoulders she has really taken to her retraining. She is easy in every aspect and just wants nothing more than to please in every way.. Although green and new to schooling, she is a fantastic ride, who is level headed and sane. She is enjoying her learning and already working in a frame with lovely natural movement and three balanced paces - she could be a model with her pretty looks and flicky toes! She is happy to go at your pace, and is not at all strong, fizzy or silly - always snaffle mouthed. She is an intelligent girl who has started to do pole work, and pop little fences very bravely. If his kind face 😇 and diamond marking 💎 isn’t enough, Blue is a pleasure to ride, with big paces, so not a kick along. He is not silly, keeps good rhythm, with lots impulsion. He feels like a big rocking chair, with an uphill rhythmic canter, great paces and a naturally good outline. He raced with success (ROR eligible) and showed that he has the right ‘big match’ temperament to excel at whatever his new best friend chooses for him. At the same token, he is equally happy on a hack with fellow steeds enjoying the countryside. He is a brave, forward thinking boy, who has a lovely jump and is super eager to learn. He will be a lovely show jumper and eventer, with great dressage marks. He’s started his jump training with ease. He doesn’t look left or right, doesn’t hesitate, just pricks his ears forward and focusses on what’s ahead, brave as a lion. 🦁 He is easy to do in all aspects. He does, however, have one vice …… chronic rolling syndrome, also known as a ‘mud hippo’. Jokes aside, he has no vices and he retired sound. When we say he is weatherproof, we mean it. Over the past week, he has worked in the wind and rain, like a Pro! Uprights falling over, tumbleweed and free-falling leaves have been no issue for Blue 🌈 He is an all-round sensible boy who travels very well, turns out alone or in company, happy to stand on the yard alone (with no other horses in sight) or with company. She is so much more than her beautiful postcard looks ! 😍 She is from the Dark Angel pedigree line, one of our favourites 😊 and what a stamp of horse she is. Sage gave racing her best shot, but this gorgeous girly is unraced as they decided her feet didn’t move fast enough💨Since then, she has been on a retreat, enjoying green fields and being a horse. She has now started her re training, and is an unspoilt canvas, ready to move on to a new career 🐴 Sage is a really kind natured, attention seeking girly with enough character to give her the big match temperament she needs 🥇She is a lovely ride, not strong, snaffle mouthed with a can-do attitude. On the flat she is a natural with a very good canter,listens to your aids and is soft in your hand. She is popping a handful of small coloured fences, and feels fab! To hack, she is bold and unphased – she has met lots of interesting encounters like sheep in a frenzy 🐑 yapping dogs 🐕 revving ATV’s 🚜 and joyful children 👶 – all of which she found pretty uninteresting, and didn’t warrant a reaction 😉 She has no vices ridden or in the stable (unless you consider accidentally playing with everything that may happen to be in her reach such as a broom or shiny new headcollar), and is blemish free. We believe this girl is a real all round competition prospect.
