MacFarlane Pheasants has been family-owned and operated since 1929 and is America's largest pheasant farm. MacFarlane Pheasants was opened in 1929 by Kenneth MacFarlane and the pheasants were bred for sale to hunt clubs.
Current owner, Bill MacFarlane took over the farm in 1985 and in the late 1980's MacFarlane made the commitment to enter the dressed pheasant business. MacFarlane has been selling dressed pheasants nationwide for over 30 years.
In 2019, MacFarlane decided to expand into the pet business and offer the same, high-quality pheasants to well-deserving pets. Pure Pheasant is MacFarlane's line of all-natural pet food and treats.
Bill MacFarlane has been feeding his dogs Pure Pheasant raw supplement since Pure Pheasant was founded swears he will never switch his dog's diet back. They have more energy and seem healthier than ever.
