The Dothan Alabama Exotic Pet Expo is coming up fast. Let’s see what the vendors are bringing to the table here in about a month. Post some pictures you guys, I know there are a lot of folks looking forward to it.

Guys, guys, guyyyyysssss. We have a bird vendor that will have a very nice variety at both shows. I’m super excited about this. Bird community please please come out and show your hobby/way of life (lifestyle) the support it deserves. You guys are awesome and I really want to see this grow into something for everyone.
Dang, I’m going to ramble. I love seeing adults come and enjoy themselves but what brings the most joy to my heart, is seeing kids get their first (reptile, bird, small mammal, fish) just their first pet. Little girl and her mom hung out at the entrance table in Florence just talking about how I got into reptiles, how my parents hated it, and how she was more than likely just there to look. A hour or so later she runs up with her first snake…… a ball python. God, if I never live to see happiness again I know I saw pure joy in that baby’s eyes. It’s a feeling I can’t explain but I would love to see that at every show.

Sorry, I’m the worst at just flying off subject.

Still looking for bird vendors but we finally got one with an amazing selection. He will have three tables at both events.

Current vendor list for Dothan Alabama. Plenty of room for more vendors. Really would like to add more bird vendors, invert vendors, and mammal vendors but it’s going to be a great show.

This was awesome to see. We really did have a great first show as far as attendance. It’s going to be bigger this year as well as adding a couple more cities

I was thinking and need you guys to offer guidance because it would involve you a lot more than me. If I say something like, for every $100 a customer spends (would have to come up to $100 or multiples of 100 at one vendor table) (so not 30 at one vendor and 70 at another) you guys give them something to fill out and enter to win $500….
Do you think that may drive up sales. I really want everyone to do well

I appreciate all the vendors that come out and make SASB Exotic Pet Expo what it is and when things go less than expected, I do blame myself. I want to see everyone prosper and go away with gains. I have also vended and understand that you don’t do well at every show. This will be another year of growing pains but, I am working on long term contracts with venues and the future is looking bright. Just stick with me guys, I’m not giving up and we will have the biggest exotics show in Alabama. I swear it, I manifest it and, it will happen.
