Chewing is a decompression outlet that all dogs need throughout their day. A good 20-30 minutes of chewing after a stimulating activity or before crate time allows your dog to self-soothe and calm their bodies.
This prevents overstimulation and anxiety.
If you have a teething puppy, give them a chew or some frozen produce to help soothe them.
Anything dehydrated works best as it's one simple ingredient and usually a tasty meat (beef trachea, chicken neck, fish skin).
