Available on the website, one of my favourite fish in the fish room they even get an extra tank for me to enjoy them more! They need warmer temperatures than your regular white clouds but will reward you with tight schooling behaviour, flashy colours and stay in the top half of the aquarium.

Check out the ton of eggs from the Melanotaenia Sexlineata (Fly River Rainbowfish) mop, this is going into a 20L tank with an Indian almond leaf for the tannins to ward off fungus for the fry to hatch and grow out. The fry will also consume microorganisms that will occur on the leaf, in-between feedings of Vinger eels, micro worms and when they are larger baby brine shrimp.

Picked up this solid bag of Daphnia today from Finn from Atlas Aquarium, Hopefully I can get the culture thriving to keep all the fish happy. Finn has a heap if you are in Brisbane for a great price.
No surprise all the display aquariums in the store looked incredible. (I don't know why I did not take any photos!) And was able to see so many fish in person for the first time, it was a real treat. Atlas Aquarium always has cool and unusual stuff. Thanks, Finn I had a fun time today!

I love my Pseudomugil Cyanodorsalis (Neon Blue Eye), They are on the cards to make it to the prestigious kitchen bench aquarium, the most prized spot when it is next refreshed. My first tiny batch of clown killifish/panchax, they are adorable! Another breeding first added to the fish room. I have plans in place to increase hatch and survival rates, by keeping the eggs warmer and removing the parents sooner. I hope to have some homebred in the coming months on offer. As anyone else bred these? Let me please share!

Breeding new fish species is always rewarding, especially when you see fry for the first time from a purposeful attempt. Hopefully, these little ones will grow into beautiful peacock gudgeons!
