Leave her alone for days — Many people believe one of the advantages of having a cat is that their independent nature allows them to be left on their own for long periods.

While it's true that cats don't require as much hands-on attention as dogs do, it's really not a good idea to leave your cat alone when you travel.

Number one, kibble, which is the only food that won't spoil sitting out in the open for days, isn't a species-appropriate diet for cats. I never recommend dry pet food, especially for kitties.

In addition, many cats will gorge themselves, eating all the food within hours after you leave. Then they (often) throw up and have nothing to eat until you return. This is stressful for your cat, and can also endanger her health, since kitties need to eat every day.

An unattended, un-scooped, stinky litterbox is an invitation to your cat to find some other spot to relieve herself. And finally, in a worst-case scenario your cat could injure herself or become ill during your absence, and no one would know.

I recommend asking a friend, relative, neighbor or professional pet sitter to stop by each day during your absence to feed and water kitty, scoop the litterbox, and spend a few minutes with her to insure she's content and healthy.

You have the best intentions driven by love. But certain actions send a completely different message to your cat. Even when you lovingly pick up your cat, her stress levels may shoot for the moon. Plus, almost everyone has this widely held misconception.

Maddie bee in da kitchen with Cheddar and Freddie making da pancakes. Cheddar loves two stir da batter from his liddle red chair at da table. Freddie cat bee cookin up those wonderful gerbil sausages wi all loves two. its gonna bee a great breakfast!

After da breakfast its Cat Scouts and den wi study. Freddie of course bee volunteering at Cat Scouts and when it ends fur da summer will miss it. Dis bee da last Cat Scout meeting till September. Dere will bee an award lunch soon where da cats get dere badges dey worked fur and a camping trip dis summer though.

Cheddar will bee out playing dis afternoon with Stevie and da Scooter dog. Wi will bee two busy studying but hooman will watch our guy and make sure he stays out of da trouble!!

Mi first final bee Monday and Maddie's first final will bee Tuesday!

Can youse believe wi almost done with second year of da college?????????????

I'm a bat...I have a purpose
I don't suck blood, and I certainly don't want to get stuck in your hair.
If I happen to break into your house, please don't hit me with cricket bats or brooms; it really hurts, and I'm so scared. It was an accident; I didn't mean to scare you. If I were to land, maybe, I wouldn't be able to get up, and I will need your help.
Just use a towel to take me out, and I’ll fly right away, promise.
I eat mosquitoes and many other insects.
Our houses are being dismantled for other buildings, and we have a few places to go. So if I happen to fly in yours, turn the light off, leave the outside light on, and leave the door open, I go out in a flash.
