what started out a wee wander, and picnic wi my 2 girls, turned out, as usual, into an army romp, up hill, over hill, down steep hills, in the quest for deer antlers..found 0 -(the blue line in one pic is our route down, yup-straight down lol )
5 hours trekking, but the sight of 100 plus deer at the end, a route we have walked before and seen the deer at the same place, just unreal, if only i had the legs of these beasts, id be up these hills in 2 or 3 minutes, simply amzing specimens they are ..a very very busy glen doll car park, but as usual, never seen a soul, no one does what we 3 dafties do haha- early bed lol zzzzz

long day, up a hill iv never done, right behind the glen doll ranger hut
set off, after gifting a dorset man a set of my antlers, which he had been looking for last 3 days up here walking glen prosen
spud wasnt happy wi this gesture, and jumped at the man, and booted him in the nuts lol, he was bent double, thanked me, and said.i wont forget these 2 boxers 😁🥰😁🥰
so, zig zag through the fallen forest from the storms, out at the top, hung a right, and thats where it all went wrong.
followed the path round, to a sheer drop, so pics, started to climb, and ran out of water.
the dogs were panting, needing a rest, so, turned back, and went towards the hill i was supposed to go up.
jesus ,, its a trek, we are knackered, but gave it a go, but 2 hours at the gym yesterday, and 2 hours on the wrong trail, we gave up, 20 mins from the top.
then, a herd of deer and stags appear at the summit, but couldnt get a decent pic, because the sun was directly in front of me.....if i had got the route right first time, we would have been up there, picknicking, and met this lot on the way down, absolutely gutted..
stopped for a chicken at tesco to cook for the girls, and a big tub of ms mollys ice cream
they done me proud again today, and deserve everything they get

up the hills today folks, a big long trek, great fun, perishing, bit of snow, some sun, and slippy, but oh what fun we had - as madness once sung- 2 dogs, currently "out of commission " (crashed out) right now haha

loch lee, waterfalls and the hills above, what a long long trek, in ice, snow and howling winds up top, dogs were just amazing, lots of pics needed today in the different conditions, theres an extra large chicken in the oven for these 2 right now, whether they wake up tonight, is another matter lol, shattered

dad took us to edzell today, bit miffed we stopped there, we were in the back, shouting loch leee, loch leeee, dad says maybe tomorrow, we had good fun, weve been coming here since we were 14 weeks old, long time ago, and we never had leads or collars on back then either, because, dad trusts us, and we would never let dad down, otherwise,, the 3 roast chickens a week would disappear says dad!

great fun at a desolated lunan bay this afternoon, low tide, nice sunlight, a stick, and now, 2 tired pups, and 5 mins to roast chickens ready, theyve had chicken pasta bake for a treat tonight, for being bloody good spuds
