Here’s a preview of our December photo contest. The photos will be posted in an album on Sunday. Collect votes by sharing with your friends and family, have them go to the album and like your dog’s picture. Freebie Friday!! For our very first Freebie Friday I am giving away one of our Puppy Care Gift Sets!! This gift set includes my favorite slicker brush and comb combo, detangler, nail clippers, tear stain wipes and bandana to keep your pet looking their very best between grooming appointments as well as a few training goodies like treats, a clicker, slip lead and poo bag holder. Throwbak Thursday!! 2 years ago I was blessed with the opprotunity to work with this incredible dog. Giligan was an overexuburant giant of a Doberman with a bit of a stubborn streak. He completed a 30 day board and train and then came back for again to stay with us for another couple weeks. When I first met this dapper young guy, even as a trainer, I thought he may always need a prong collar as a backup. Boy did he blow my mind with he willingness to learn new things and adaptability to new expectations! Here he is working off leash in a busy park with a group of young men playing basketball 50 yards away. His mom shares this about her experience with Iron Wolf K9: Victoria Myers We found Jessica and Iron Wolf through sheer luck but the most perfect recommendation! Gilligan (now 3 y/o, doberman pinscher) took part in the board and train program when he hit the teenager phase and needed some boundaries reinforced. With a high energy needs dog, we knew it was important to make sure he could be calm in the house. Not only did he get trained but we did too! Jessica gave us the tools and assistance to meet his needs and ensure everyone is fulfilled at the end of the day. She locked in his loose leash walking skills, and since then we have moved from using strictly prong collars to martingales and flat collars on most days! He also gained a safe space in the kennel, and although he doesn’t need it during the day anymore, he is happy to have a safe space to sleep at night that’s his own. Every time family visits, they have nothing but praises to sing about how polite he is in the house now! We could not have achieved this without the guidance and care of Iron Wolf! We got our first akc title in novice trick dog just a few weeks ago as well! Here's what his grandmother had to say: Nancy Meyers Jessica is awesome. Her dedication is unmatched.
