This is our little survivor Charlie, aka “Chili”. She loves playing with her besties, our kitten Louie and my daughter Mila. She is the sweetest, cuddliest, hungriest puppy you will ever meet. She is the best 💜

I was so excited to foster 3 cute little puppies that needed love and care until they found their furever homes. Unfortunately, they all had distemper and 2 of them died. The first one I posted about was Mary Puppins and she died of pneumonia. This little brown one, Brownie, was the second to go. He started having really bad seizures and I could see how much in pain he was in. It was so traumatizing for us to experience that with him. He had to be euthanized and that was the saddest day. After that I knew I was going to lose the last one and the thought of going through that again was unbearable. I almost gave her up to have someone else deal with it because it was affecting me and my family so much. I soon realized that her best chance of survival was with us, to continue the treatment and keep her happy and hopeful. I am so glad I did not give up because she pulled through! She is one strong little pup and she had already been spoken for so I was determined to help her make it to her new family who was already waiting for her. The wonderful people I was working with from PAWS4thought Animal Rescue agreed that if she made it through I should keep her if I so desired. That they would hate to take her away from me after everything we went through and more happy and blessed for that I could not be. We got to keep her and she is our little survivor. We love her and are so happy we did not give up on her. Distemper is a horrible disease but is not a death sentence. They have a 50/50 chance of survival but the 50 percent chance of survival is only possible with help of strong loving people that can give them the care and attention they need. We didn’t give up, she didn’t give up and now we have the sweetest friend we could have ever hoped for 💜

Yesterday was a very sad day 😔 Mary Puppens was a tornado of energy! All she wanted to do was play and lick your face. She specially gravitaded towards my daughter and always gave her tons of kisses. I started to notice her behavior change drastically overnight. She became really lethargic and developed a fever. She would just lay all day. Even my daughter would come close to her and would just softly pet her almost as if she knew that’s all she had energy for 😢. They feared it was an infection post-surgery due to early sterilization. In some places where animals are rescued from they don’t follow protocol, keep these animals in horrible conditions, don’t treat them when they get sick and just leave them to die. We got her quickly on antibiotics, made sure she was hydrated and eating, it all happened so fast. We had her for little time but she made a huge impact in our hearts. We are just glad you went to heaven embraced by loving arms and not scared and alone in an overcrowded shelter. We will miss you so much Mary Pups 💜 Thank you for loving us 💜 We loved you too 🐶🥰

Sending out a plea for Fosters in the San Diego area. This poor boy Is stuck in the shelter in El Centro and we want to pull him but we need a foster. Please help us help him.

These babies were rescued from just over the border in Mexico. The three were all together when they found them and wouldn’t leave each other’s side. They are a little over 2 months and thankfully they tested negative for all parasites and got their first round of shots a week ago. They have been spayed/neutered and will be ready to go to their furever home in three weeks. They are all very friendly and loving puppies that want nothing more than to have a place to call their home and people to call their family 💜

These were the first few days we had these little guys with us. They were pretty scared and took a little while for them to warm up to their new surroundings. Their new temporary home scared them. And they were really skinny, specially brownie (you can guess which one he is). They are such sweethearts though. I am so glad I get to show them what a safe and loving home should feel like 🥰

Meet Louie!

This little guy is so special to me. He is my first foster and of course we fell in love with him, so we adopted him. His favorite pastimes are eating, eating and eating! Louie will legit eat your food of your mouth while you eat it, he cant help himself! Besides food, he also loves to play with the laser, curl up with you, cuddle and purr very loudly and he loves my daughter. They are best friends! Since they are both very young to the world, they love exploring together. We were so lucky to find him and I know he feels the same way about us ❤️.

I have been feeling deeply in my heart that if I want to do something I should just go and do it. It doesn't hurt that my husband supports anything I set my mind to. No animal should suffer from abuse, go hungry, or be wet or cold. Specially because they need US to give them a voice. So, I have decided to do anything I can to help the fight for them. For now I will foster and help find furever homes for our furry friends. Hopefully I will be able to do more in the future but every little bit anyone can do helps. I will share with all the beautiful people I know my adventures right here 🥰.
