Folks, it hurts my heart to make these posts but we have to be a voice for the voiceless.

Luna is a YOUNG mastiff shepard mix. She loves to cuddle once she's warmed up to you and loves fetch as well! She is good with other dogs, not sure about cats as I didn't test. She needs a home with handlers that have lots of time for training as she is very skiddish and scared of new things and people. She is very submissive, and needs an experienced handler or a handler willing to work EVERYDAY on her training. She is ready for a new home or a foster. Any rescues who may be able to take her in, please reach out to me. If you currently foster and are interested, please let the rescue you foster for, know that we need her fostered. Client spotlight! This month we are highlighting our clients Matthew with his Mastiff mix. Matthew and I started out training at a previous facility I worked for before starting Dancing Tree Rehabilitative Dog Training. We didn't quite have the opportunity to get real world experiences in and let me tell you, they did fantastic at this little music concert in richland recently. Mochi has some confidence and fear issues that he vocalizes. This can be intimidating for others and tough for the owner to correct or redirect the frustration.

Mochi was able to walk, smell, and lay with our personal Dog, Kara. There were a few instances where he vocalizes frustration but we worked through it and got to enjoy some music in the park and a positive session. Great work Matthew and Mochi!

We coined last year and it's reached over 5000 hashtags to posts across Meta. We will always advocate and always be the voice for the voiceless. We all are in this to save, rescue, and train dogs to be the best they can be and live the best life possible for them. Advocate for these dogs, because they absolutely need it. I hope to see everyone at some of the city council meetings to grill city council as to why there are not harsher laws in place for backyard breeding/parking lot sellers...why were not allocating funds from cannabis tax dollars to saving these dogs or hiring more animal control officers, building more buildings and employing more people to care for the animals that didn't ask to be apart of this dumped and over bred dog epidemic.

Save a life today! Foster/rescue/adopt/ BUT DO NOT SHOP for your pup. Visit one of the amazing rescues websites or the shelter and help a dog in need.

Great feeling when a client says to keep doing what you're doing as they see the behaviors melt when they follow directions correctly.

Many times I hear "we tried a couple times and it doesn't work" or some excuse along those lines. When you follow the directions, the homework, and watch how we handle the leash....things change and they change quickly. We're super thankful and value each and every client.

Please help donate directly to Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care. Tank is my buddy and one of the multiple 40+ dogs taken off a property on a chain in the elements. This guy has gone through the ringer and we need all the help we can get to keep him healthy. He deserves this new life ahead of him, we just need some funds to help pull him through. Time after time I get asked about which vet is the best, or the cheapest or the quickest. Lots of things come into play when the care of your animal is on the table. When it comes to quality, care, compassion and outright cleanliness and positive vibes... I will always endorse and vouch for Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care. Dr. Vang in Urgent care, Isabella the vet assistant, Chris, Dr. Cleveland and all the other staff and vets have been the best. I personally have worked with or alongside many of their staff and vets in my career and I haven't been treated as well anywhere else.

Please, vaccinate, spay & neuter your animals...cost is irrelevant when it comes to the care of your pets.

I do want to say, regardless of some people's opinions, that Tri-Cities Animal Shelter new revamped website with the lost/found feature is pretty darn great! While we had some minor complications getting the chip info for our lost cat, we ended up finding him thankfully. It was not directly due to the loat/found feature on the website but it helps narrow down and show recently reported animals and has helped reunite some of my clients animals back to them as well. While your jobs there are stressful, I just thought it would he nice to say Thank You for getting this free service up and running on the site.

Today around 3:15 at the Richland Dog Park, I was training on leash with a couple clients and their amazing working breed dog. We were approached by several dogs and had very positive Interactions until a couple with a extremely overweight Siberian Husky, wolf type mix entered the park. Their dog did multiple HARD STARES at our training dog and as we we were having a positive sniff with a cute frenchie, the husky/wolf mix approached, bared teeth and growled at our dog, whilst muzzle punching our dog, Mind you, our training dog is about 65 pounds and not very big. The dog nearly caused a fight so I body blocked between both dogs and lifted up and around to direct our training dog away from the situation and put myself between them. The 2 owner (short Caucasian woman with brownish/light colored hair and her larger 275lb + friend or boyfriend with long black hair decided to yell and scream at me about "making our dog scared and afraid" chiming in on the paid training, and telling us "it's illegal to have a leash on a dog in a dog park" after his dog came back at our dog with a hard stare and lunged, I stepped between the dogs and redirected his oversized husky/wolf breed away from our dog and the man comes up, puts his elbow and arm on me and pushed me. He was a heavier set male with longer black hair. He used offensive language, threatened bodily harm to me and harm to my clients, and their dog as well. A report wasn't made as my clients were just trying to have a training session after numerous amazing sessions and wanted to enjoy a nice session inside and outside of the dog park.

Harassment, and assault on someone doing their Job is illegal and should therefore be reported which I should have done, but as of recently our trust with RPD has gone downhill. If you or anyone you may know who was at the park who saw this (already have a few witnesses) we would appreciate you coming forward, as this was unacceptable behavior from an uneducated owner who couldn't control their own dog, or their own temper, and disrupted our paid training, as well as assaulted me. The Vehicle pictured is theirs so if you know who this is, I'd love to file a report as people don't belong in our community like this, let alone at public parks. Such an explosive couple with such hatred... they must have had a bad day and decided to take it out on us. Wish we got a picture of the couple.

⚠️ LONG READ AHEAD⚠️

A few days ago, I saw a post about a possibly pregnant German Shepard running near the 395 overpass but more towards the canal street area. I hopped in my car and zoomed over from Richland to see if I could spot her. After 4 locations I checked, I came back to the first 1 and I saw her. I called for her, while sitting down and tossing treats near her.

She did not trust me yet, but she ran further towards directly under the 395 overpass and I lost her due to the ravine/clay and muddy, loose earth under me. So I started my journey and found an alternate route to get on the other side of the Canal off Pallouse street.

I walked for about a mile until I saw ears move in some brush, a dog lifted it's head and to my surprise, it was not the dog I was originally there for. This dog was much more convincing of my treats, soft voice and touch. About 3 minutes later, 3 more dogs show up all about the same breed/mixes. I had 2 leashes and a pocket full of treats and a clicker tool. So 4 dogs total, the 2 biggest males I put my slip leads on (they took about 15 minutes of crocodile rolling and calming techniques until they realized I wasn't there to hurt them. The mamma shepard had given birth recently and was not currently pregnant. She followed closely as I dropped treats for about a mile. We then had to all climb through loose dirt and mud to get up to my car. We get there and I get 3 of them in the car after about 5 to 7 minutes of struggling to safely pickup multiple 85+lb dogs into my vehicle, keep them there while the others are being put in... I think I sweated 10lbs off of me after that ordeal.

Mamma dog still had little trust in me, but she was trying to show me something. She kept circling a house on the corner and I followed her gently and softly. She took me to a wooden fence, opened it with her teeth and ran inside the home which had a sliding glass door open. I knocked for a few minutes to see if anyone was home, and realized where I was, was actually their back door. So I went to the front and the owner sees me and confirmed with me that these were her dogs. About 2 and a half hours of treading through uneven canals, a few homeless camps, some garbage dump piles, some suslicious heavy tied blaxk garbage bags, all to find these dogs. Such a happy ending, and owners info was collected as well as the dogs descriptions and names. I also advised the owners of the consequences that come with dogs getting lose and others finding them or they get impounded and a fee has to be paid to get them out. They were apologetic and hopefully can make some fixes to their home to stop this from happening again.

We did this with the help of community members posting through animal groups on Facebook to help get this one dog who ended up being a family of 4 housemate dogs, back to their home. Best possible outcome we could of asked for. Thank you to the community members who helped with the location and coordinates of the last sighting. This was made possible by them!
