Meet BRUNO ( we talk about Bruno) He is a pure bred Italian Greyhound and a big baby. Bruno is 12 years old and came to us a month ago when his owner suddenly passed away. Who knew I would be dressing a dapper senior gentleman at my advanced age?

One year ago we decided to foster a sweet, funny, blind mini pin, so that she could get out of the shelter. With the help of Rescue Garden , we nursed our sweet pup thru three surgeries and became a foster fail. Our little blind baby moose has changed our lives. We needed to buy a sling because our princess always wants to be near. She loves McDonald's breakfast burritos, Sunshine and cuddling. We hope she is with us for many years but will take whatever we can get. Happy Gotcha day sweet Sophie!!!!

Meet our man MARTIN, aka Marty, Martin Van Buren....he was 4 hours from being euthanized. They said he was a "biter". We brought home snow white Marty and his kennel mate Big Baxter, THE" biter.

Marty settled in to the pack nicely. He would nip at your nose, but playfully. They didn't know how old he was at the shelter but as the months went by, Marty, started getting light brown spots. He was under one and now we have had him three+ years.

The big B, Big Cinnamon, Baxter!

When you have a misunderstood furbaby like Baxter the needs are extremely high, physically, mentally and financially. While one of us is at home getting IV antibiotics from a BB (Baxter Bite) the others have taken the big "B" pre-medicated to our new vet. Baxter became a member of our family in April of 2019, three hours shy of being euthanized. He had been abused by his previous owners, malnourished (lol not anymore) missing a toenail and a broken toe that was never treated, so it is now permanently flipping everyone off, and completely misunderstood. He is loving and fun and afraid...bites out of fear. The vet understands that and is patient with him. The visit was semi successful, Baxter has to be fully sedated next week, (perhaps I will get to hold him. We are patient with him. He will be a wonderful dog in his old age, until then we will love him, comfort him and try to get out of the way of those sharp teeth.......

Meet Sophie! Our 14 yr old Blind mini pin with a grade six heart murmur. She is perfect. She loves little dresses and high stepping to the dinner bell. Those that have been around awhile, know she won our hearts with her looks because resembles Sparky but has given us all lots of laughs with her great personality!

Meet Fiona! Rescued from the county pound. She is half sloth half dinosaur. She was on death door and slept on the couch for her first six months, then realized she had a forever home. Now she is feisty, fresh and full of fun.
