As most of you know by now, Far View Farms is for sale. However as most of you also know, it can take a very long time to sell a farm. In the meantime, we have several open stalls and we have opened up several boarding options. We have traditional full-care boarding, partial care boarding, and a very limited number of self-care stalls. We have committed to our boarders to give 60 days notice if the barn sells.

Amenities include: dressage ring with GGT footing, jump arena with GGT footing, turnout for your horse, stalls cleaned twice a day (full and partial board) and bedded (full board, partial boarders provide bedding), quality hay (full board, partial boarders provide hay), we feed owner provided grain, auto waterers, fly spray system in the main barn, eurociser (extra charge). We have a H/J trainer available if you would like lessons.

Our beautiful farm is for sale. My daughter found Elliott for me back when I had just started riding again after a long hiatus. He was definitely one of a kind. He got me back in the saddle and back in the show ring.

He could be loving… or grumpy...And sometimes just ignored you. we went through a lot together. He lived with me at our house on Oak Lane and moved with me to the farm. He went through months of stall rest after an injury… And after that would never live in a stall. He was pretty much retired at the end of his life, but we always joked that he had the best shoes, the best supplements, and he got to live outside in the turnout where he wanted to live. Elliott always called the shots. When the animal communicator talked to him, he told her that he wanted me to be more present when I was with him. If you know me, you know that there's always 1 million things going on in my mind. After that, I really tried to just be present when I was with him.

On my last ride on him, he was extremely well-behaved. He didn't pull any of his stunts, and he really seemed to enjoy the ride, as did I.

Unfortunately, I was at my sister's funeral when he had to be put down this week. Carlos and the guys stayed with him until the end and that is so appreciated.

Thank you Elliott. I hope that you are once again galloping through green pastures. We are going to miss you.

Jordan and I are extremely proud to be honored by the United States Equestrian Federation and to receive the Julep Cup for our ownership (with our friends) of Boyd Martin's Federman B at the United States Eventing Association conference!

Such an honor and such a tribute to not only Boyd Martin but the late Annie Goodwin who produced an amazing horse!
