I’m reaching out to ask for a little help. We still have many incredible exchange students eagerly awaiting placement for the upcoming school year, and we need your help to find them welcoming homes.

Hosting an exchange student is a wonderful opportunity to bring a new culture into your home, create lifelong connections, and make unforgettable memories. If you’re not ready to commit for the entire year, consider hosting a student for a short period so they can start school while we continue searching for a permanent placement.

Even if hosting isn’t the right fit for you, that’s okay! When you refer a family who ends up hosting, you’ll earn $1,000 as a thank you from Greenheart!

“It’s absolutely mind boggling if you think about it.

Your horse gets absolutely nothing out of being competitive for you. Not a darn thing. Of course horses are bred for specific jobs, or they’re bred to be athletic to a certain degree. However, horses don’t wake up thinking about chasing cans, or cows, or flying over jumps.

They have no idea how much money is added to the pot.

They have no idea that this is a qualifier. They have no idea that this is the short go.

And DESPITE us... DESPITE our nerves, our flaws, our incorrect ques, our huge emotions, they get the job done to their very best ability. Even when we fail them by letting our emotions get in the way, they come back and they try again. For US. Whoa. Let that sink in. If only we could all be so understanding.

To think of an animal that is forgiving and flexible enough to put up with the repetition of practice, the intense nerves of the rider, the stress of hauling and still meet you at the gate for scratches is MIND. BLOWING.

If you haven’t done so lately. Thank your horse.

If you’re successful, thank the horses that put you there and made you. Thank the horses that gave everything they had for you simply because you ASKED them to.

If you’re still on the journey to success, thank the horses that made you fall in love with your sport and who have helped give you the confidence to want to learn more and be better.

We can never stop learning as horsemen and horsewomen, and by continuing our education every horse in our future will be better off.

Next time you head to the arena leave your ego at the door and thank your horse!”

The wonky weather is keeping everyone indoors, so here's a good throwback to a warm day in the snow. The boys thought it was more fun rolling without a blanket on than coming inside for dinner! Everyone can't wait for summer ✌

It was a beautiful day in NH for the first annual beach ride in memory of Jess Halliday. We got lucky with blue skies and warm weather. It was the first time on the beach for some horses but everyone was well behaved and handled it like Champs 💪

Devastating!

I got a call Saturday that I wouldn't wish on anyone. One of my boarders and their horse had been hit by a truck on a road that they have ridden many times before. They completely on the side and wearing bright reflective gear! Now the Enfield police department is doing nothing about it. Too much paperwork I guess 🤷‍♀️ we are calling the department today to let them know that this is wrong and we will not take it laying down. Shelby and Waffles were obeying traffic laws, but the man who hit them clearly wasn't!! At the very least he needs to be charged with negligent driving. Waffles was hit from behind walking on the side of the road meaning the driver had swerved to even hit them in the first place. Shelby has lost a big piece of her heart and could've lost her life. Our barn will not be the same without Waffles and our hearts are shattered. There must be justice for Waffles!
