Happy National Cat Day! Here's my girly, Ferah, an ex feral kitty I brought home from the Oregon Humane Society. She can do 13 tricks and is learning more. I need to get a video of her doing all of her tricks. In the meantime, here she is playing dead.

I wanted to send out a heartfelt thanks to all of you that participated in yesterday's fundraiser. It was a huge success and a reminder of how awesome the dog community is! I will probably get to the fundraiser photos on Wednesday, possibly tomorrow afternoon. I am on track to wrap up the OES National photos tomorrow. Photo of Ferah in her Halloween costume just to grab your attention.

I spent the past week covering the Old English Sheepdog National Specialty. Such a wonderful, versatile breed. I admire the amount of time spent grooming these beauties for show! Here are some photos of the past week. Herding and agility photos have already been posted on my website. I hope to get obedience/rally photos posted today. Monday the plan is to start and maybe even wrap up conformation show photos. I'll be posting the links shortly. I hope everyone had/has a safe trip home!

Several titles were earned this past weekend at Springhill Stables! My little man had a chance to play on Saturday. I could have photos ready in a few hours, if not, tomorrow morning at the latest.

I met with Paula today in the parking lot of the vet where Dash Dash is currently hospitalized to chat with her and to donate some money. I am looking at arranging a benefit photo shoot as well. I will be talking to Paula about those arrangements and share details once etched in stone. In the meantime, if you'd like to help a fellow dog lover/trainer in a tough position, please consider supporting, even if all you can offer is a prayer or a hug at this time, it is all appreciated. I know the heartache of having a dog fight for their life, chances are you do too. I first met Paula years ago when I grew interested in trick training. I took my White Shepherd, Tundra to her classes when I lived in Portland. I have taken my silly Buhund boy to her for a couple of one on one lessons. I'm sure many of you know her and Dash Dash.

It was a comfortable weekend for a summer scent work trial. A lot of great search areas! My little guy got to play, we have work to do with exterior but we did get our novice interior title! Here are some shots from the PNW Scent Work Club's trials in Salem this past weekend. I hope to have these posted on my website by Thursday afternoon. Stay tuned for updates!
