I assume other teachers and trainers go through the same thing we see with dog training.

Like if someone teaches a baking class, if was like dog training, it would go like this:

Baker: how are the cookies going?
Student: they didn’t turn out like in class
Baker: why do you think that is?
Student: I don’t know, I guess just bad cookies
Baker: probably not… did you use all of the ingredients?
Student: I think so… well I didn’t have time to put sugar in.
Baker: but…. If you don’t do the steps I showed you, the cookies won’t turn out the same
Student: I’m just not a good baker
Baker: no, you need to use the ingredients, it’s not hard.
Student: I think I’ll just keep doing it without sugar. Or maybe try a different baking class

Be careful who you hire as a dog trainer. There is a west valley dog trainer taking credit for MY WORK. Just know I trained 8 of the dogs "he trained".
