Our dogs have fantastic recall on their own, this is a great tool to use for when our dogs are a bit out of range for our voices. No yelling necessary. No shock or vibrate needed. Just the beep is enough.

We were craving some squash and came to our local pumpkin shack. I always have a dog and a camera with me (is that wierd?).... so I grabbed these!

The picture of Lena and her person (my amazing mom) is my favorite! They are best friends and I love that for them. I am just the glorified trainer🤣

We like to expose our pups to all types of activities like grooming! Not only does it get them used to being handled and trimmed, but it also helps protect moms tummy from the claws. 🐾

Every interaction with these pups from day 1 is what creates a well balanced, confident pup🥰

⁉️What is Early Neurological Stimulation? ⁉️

The first three weeks of a puppy’s life is a crucial time. Puppies are very helpless at this stage. Their eyes do not open until around 10 days, and the sense of hearing starts around 2 weeks. 👀👂

Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises, which are conducted once daily from the third to the 16th days, a period believed to be a time of rapid neurological growth and development. Even though puppies are very immature during this time frame, they are sensitive and respond to ENS.

The benefits that have been observed in puppies that were exposed to ENS are: 

🟠 Boost brain development.

🟠 Improves circulation and immune system.

🟠 Stimulates the neurological system.

🟠 Improves stress responses in later life.

🟠 Encourages a daily physical check of each puppy.

🟠  Greater resistance to disease

The benefits are so incredible. 👌 I could go on and on about this. 🥰

Camping with Leia was quite hilarious. She had a job and took that job seriously. Squirrel control.

This was a self assumed position, as we quite like the squirrels.

She would just stand there... waiting. The Squirrels were smart. They knew the site was patrolled by the best Squirrel watcher in the world.

Leia has never actually caught a Squirrel... but that doesn't stop her dreaming.

Our goldens know NOT to enter the bush as our son Noah reacts to poison ivy. So she just sits... and waits.

Guess who got to go camping!

Everyone!!!

To say our site was busy, is an understatement. 4 dogs, countless kids (not all mine🤣) and lots of family and friends.

We really love having our dogs with us for adventures and this week was no exception. They were extremely well behaved, off leash in our site. Even when people walked by with their dogs... our crew bairly lifted their heads.

The kids took them on countless bike rides, swims and walks.

I am very proud of every pup, our training sure showed. Finn has really made some massive improvements.
