The VL Racing team are certainly hitting their straps on both sides of the Tasman for the 2024-25 racing season

With Samantha now officially on the trainer's license, the team is on the hunt for her first race win and the horses are firing on all cylinders with a streak of fast finishing 4th placings.

Kuroko (4g Staphanos x Pouri Chimes) raced by David and Phillipa Fullerton, this well related son of Staphanos has taken time to mature but confirmed our faith in his staying pedigree by running 4th on Debut. We are excited about his Autumn campaign when he gets to 2000m and beyond.

Bamboozle (5g Tavistock x Snaptoit) race by Berri Schroder and a group of his friends. This scopey son of Tavistock has all the ability in the world but has taken time to mature and learn his craft. after two brilliant trials, he was a fast-finishing 4th first up this campaign.

Animus (3g El Roca x Lupara) race by Mr Gerry Harvey of Westbury Stud, this horse looks like a brilliant stayer in the making. Losing momentum running onto heels on debut, he put it all together last week and ran a brilliant 4th 2nd up over 1600m and looks as though he will continue to improve as he peaks on his fitness and races over further.

Across the ditch 🇦🇺

After an eye-catching 4th place first up under our care, Entitlement has made her way to Australia, and we look forward to following her progress under the powerhouse Waterhouse Bott racing tutelage.

Swycho, wearing the VL brand proudly on her shoulder has made us so proud, winning back-to-back races for Michael Hickmott. Yesterday she ran an enormous 3rd at Flemington on Oaks Day during Cup week.

With our individualized approach to training each individual horse, we pride ourselves on getting the best out of each individual under our care.

We have shares available (2.5% and beyond) in horses both bred and purchased by Sam and Maxim. We also have the space to train your future star as well.

Big day for the VL Racing team today.

Two horses with the VL brand racing in Australia.

Gentian Blue (Pictured) is on a quick turnaround after racing superbly last Saturday at Caulfield.

The Valley - Race 4 Strathmore Community Bendigo Bank (BM78) 2040m - GENTIAN BLUE (barrier 2) - Daniel Stackhouse to ride once again.

Morphettville - Race 1 - Canadian Club Maiden Plate 1250m
SWYCHO - In her Australian debut for new owners and trainer Michael Hickmott.

Both these special mares sport the VL brand on their shoulders and it makes us immensely proud to have them represent us so well in Australia.

We still have some shares available in two fillies directly connected to these two super racetrack performers at very affordable prices with huge scope for financial return.

The VL Bloodstock team head to the races in search of black type today.

2yo filly Stockpin (TARZINO X Likeapins) makes her Raceday debut in the Phils Electrical & Gipsy Caravans - Ryder Stakes (1200m)

After strong trial performances and a week at Ruakaka this filly has absolutely thrived in her work and this has been her target race all prep.

She travelled down super and looks a picture.

The team has had an unforgettable week up at Ruakaka beach, settling in really well and thriving on the beach. The week culminates with a resuming race for Gentian Blue as she kicks off a new campaign in the Northpine Waipu Cup 1400m.

Swycho is also running, on the quick back up after an impressive fast finishing 4th at Tauranga last weekend.

So proud of GENTIAN BLUE and her performance yesterday as she stepped up to Group 1 level. Putting in a solid effort and running home strong to finish 5th in the NZEA NZ TB Breeders Stakes.

Another winner for ACE HIGH! Lightly tried filly Dealers Choice was an impressive winner in the first on the card at Pukekohe Park today.
