🐕🐾 ARE YOU FEEDING YOUR DOG’S CELLS? 🥩🍗🥦
This picture is the most detailed image of a human cell to date, created by a combination of x-ray, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, and cryoelectron microscopy imaging.
The cell of a canine looks very similar to a human's and contains the same major structures, including a cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, vacuoles, mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, ribosomes, and endoplasmic reticulum.
The cell is at the center of every process that occurs in a dog's body--it holds the dog's DNA in its center, is responsible for growth, reproduction, energy production, and metabolic reactions.
When you look at this image, I hope what comes to mind is the beautiful COMPLEXITY of its structure! The cell is like a city that, when fueled properly, works like a harmonious machine to allow your dog to live a long, healthy, happy, active life.
But in order to run properly, it needs to be FUELED with fresh, dense nutrition! When a body is starved of the nutrition it requires, it starves the cells of what it needs to run properly and will impact nearly every major function of the dog's body in some way.
To maximize your dog's potential, it MUST be fed a fresh, healthy, balanced, biologically appropriate diet.
If you're interested in learning more about how to improve your dog's diet OR include diet as part of your training program, I offer personal, virtual consultations to help you figure out the next step forward.
