Labrador Retrievers bred for wonderful temperament, sound conformation and working ability in the field. Our pedigrees contain many dual titled Labradors (Champion/Master Hunters) as well as NFCs, NAFCs, and several Hall of Fame dogs. We believe in a well rounded Labrador that has correct breed conformation, strong retrieving and prey drive, and a temperament that makes for a perfect family companion in the home.

Happy SEVENTH Birthday to our beautiful black GSP Kansas. To say she's a special dog is an understatement.

She's succeeded in every venue we've ever thrown at her, beginning with a perfect score in NAVHDA NA, to winning trials in UFTA and NSTRA, placing in AKC puppy horseback trials, to AKC hunt tests....but her (and my) favorite and where she really shines is the grouse woods.

She got lots of extra couch time and treats today. 🖤

Had a great time this weekend introducing our son and daughter-in-law's super-sweet Golden puppy, Goose, to birds and gun fire.

Despite some initial hesitation, she took to it like a natural and we think Gossie's gonna be rock stars. 🧡🧡🧡

We can't wait to watch our granddaughters shoot birds over her in the years to come. 🧡

Pretty nice UFTA trial weekend for Team ThornValley. Got a 2nd Place finish in Doubles Flushing with Ms. Maddie, a 2nd place Open Pointing with MaryBeth Brown 's awesome Weimaraner (Valkyrie's littermate) Lettie, and a FIRST Place in Amateur Pointing with our GSP Kansas baby Faith, in her second trial ever!
