Meet Dodger, the cutest little pit bull-chihuahua mix with a heart as big as his smile! At just 25 lbs and 2 years old, Dodger is packed with charm and energy. 🐾 He loves walks, car rides, cuddles, and playtime with other dogs (with slow introductions). Dodger is crate and potty-trained but sometimes rocks a stylish diaper as he continues to heal from his rough start in life.

Dodger’s story began on the side of the road, abandoned and in need of life-saving care. While his sister has found her happy ending, Dodger is still waiting for his. 💔 With the support of , he’s ready for a loving foster or adopter who can give him the stability and care he needs to thrive.

Fostering Dodger comes with a dedicated fan club to support you, including help with travel and time off. also provides his prescription food!

Meet .milo.w, a talented art student from Florida who poured her heart into this incredible piece of artwork for her final project. Growing up with pit bulls, she’s always known them as the sweet, silly, and lovable dogs they are—and now she’s using her artistry to challenge the stigma around the bully breed.
Her words say it all: “There is no such thing as a bad breed. I’ve had the blessing to grow up and work with many pitties, and they’ve been nothing but big, lovable friends.”

We couldn’t agree more. Every pittie deserves love, understanding, and a chance to show the world their true, gentle nature. Thank you, Mili, for being a voice for pitties and for your stunning tribute to the bond between humans and these amazing dogs. 🐾❤️

“Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this foundation. If it weren’t for this group, the beautiful blue pittie below wouldn’t have had the chance to be adopted by her wonderful new family. Sky was in a rescue, and when she had a tumor on her leg that required surgical removal, I was afraid it would be the end for her 💔. Thankfully, APBF stepped in and sponsored her procedure! She was adopted ONE WEEK later 🥹. So grateful for all APBF’s hard work and dedication. My sweet Sky found her happily ever after because of them. Thank you!!!”
