It’s happy OFA day at Ivy Leash. Autumn & Gabby passed OFA Advanced Cardiac & Eyes. Brew passed his annual Advanced Cardiac and Eyes!

While we were hoping for more Squeaks’ puppies life had other plans. Squeaks developed a life threatening infection that required an emergency spay. It transpired while we were on vacation. Had it not been for a dog sitter extraordinaire that knows and loves each of my dogs, things could have ended differently. A HUGE shout out to the other Beth Johnson and Dr. Watkins and his amazing staff for saving my precious girl’s life!

Squeaks was a wonderful mother and thankfully she has her daughter Rizz to carry on her beauty and charming temperament. Just a few short weeks following her early retirement from motherhood Squeaks is back to doing what she does best- bringing joy to me and to those she meets in her role as a Therapy Dog.

We have exciting news to share. Last week we traveled to Texas to pick up this beautiful girl to join the Ivy Leash Labrador crew! Autumn is our Tamale’s half sister. Brew was thrilled and they had their first “date” yesterday. Hopefully we will have yellow Labrador puppies early September 💛🤞
