I am so sorry to announce. Oliver has passed away. He is in Heaven with his favorite person, Uncle Joe. They are healed and free, walking together like they always said.

When we first had Oliver. He was probably only 2 months old here. You can see his contracted leg on the left. Which is now splinted. This is when we made the “wheel” chair originally. It didn’t have wheels and he didn’t know how to move his legs around too much yet. We knew absolutely nothing about having a goat. It just progressed over time to now, an official wheelchair.

As you know, Oliver is a rescue. However, his family just so happens to live right next door to us!!! The past two or three days Oliver has been rolling out of the garage down a little hill and to the fence to see his mom, dad and sister! It is so cute. Because they never used to get along too well. At one point the mom bucked him. And I didn’t take him over for a while. Now they’re fine. Still getting Oliver a goat and his own fence but it’s nice to see them touching noses and getting along.

This was after I had taken a very long walk without my wheelchair. We did three laps in the driveway! I was trying to be lazy to get my treat and make her come to me! But my mommy made me scoot a few steps anyway!😡😂🐐❤️

This is what Oliver’s splint looks like when it’s off and I decided to store his food in a metal trash bin to deter the mice and rats hopefully! Still working on the rat problem!

Oliver comes home today! I promise I’ll get some pics of him in his wheelchair! They ended up not doing surgery. They’re doing a less invasive option first, which is stretching and splinting his leg. He had it on the first day and second, last night off and the vet wants it off for the weekend. She said it went back to normal bent position when it was off. He had to have his splint off last night, doing good today. Will be picking him up around 1. Said we will re-evaluate on Monday. And go from there.

I feel like I accomplished so much but accomplished nothing at the same time.

Oliver is at the vet. He will be coming home tomorrow with a splint and some pain meds!! Here’s to a speedy recovery I hope❤️fingers crossed 🤞🏼

The man came to measure the fence for Oliver a few days ago. Also, I was told to send videos of Oliver walking to the vet so she can look at them and decide if we’re ready to fix Oliver’s front leg. So, that will look like putting him to sleep, breaking and casting his leg and then he will be on heavy pain meds and bed rest for a little while! As scary as it sounds, I think Oliver and I are equally as excited for tomorrow.

Another night of being knocked out on Mimi! This was yesterday. We discovered barn rats so, they are going to be taken care of today! My mommy’s cleaning out my shed. Doing final adjustments to my wheelchair. And giving me lovings all day!

Oliver was in his new wheelchair yesterday. But we ran into a bit of a problem. He gets SUPER bloated and his belly is rock hard. My guess is because there’s nothing to support his belly it just droops. So pictures will be coming!!!! BUT , not until we figure out what we’re going to do about the belly bloat in the chair. Thanks for your patience! As always feel free to share Oliver’s page and his story. He’s a pretty crazy lil man.
