Penguin Bearded Dragon Adult - Adoption, Rescue for sale i
Penguin is an adult male bearded dragon. He was deprived of UVB light at the beginning of his life and has some leg deformities. His front feet sometimes go backwards. He is named after Penguin from Gotham because he walks funny. Like the real Penguin, Penguin the dragon is tenacious and good at getting what he wants, mostly crickets. We did not list him as special needs because he is very healthy and eats on his own. Penguin is a good hunter and loves his crickets, roaches, and super worms. He is friendly and likes to be held. He would like it if he could be in a living room where he could see his family. He likes coming out of his tank and sitting with you. Penguin would be happiest in a 30-40 gallon tank. His adoption fee is $95 and he does not come with supplies.
Bearded dragons need a basking light and a basking temperature of 100-110, a UVB light replaced every six months, a nighttime heat light, and an under tank heat pad if necessary. Their ambient temperature should not go below 75. Bearded dragons are omnivores and need to be offered a variety of bugs as well as fruits and vegetables. Examples of their diet are crickets, roaches, horn worms, butter worms, king worms, meal worms, and wax worms. For the salad they should have dark leafy greens such as chard, mustard greens, collard greens (never spinach), cucumber, yellow or red peppers, any squash, strawberries, blue berries, banana, melon, mango. They are friendly reptiles and are not shy. Most bearded dragons enjoy attention from people and can be handled frequently....
