Public Service Announcement:
If you apply for a working line English Mastiff puppy, bring the puppy home at 8 weeks old and are complaining about noise in the crate within 48 hours of picking up that puppy - DO NOT GET ANOTHER PUPPY. Or any dog, for that matter. If your expectations of a living, breathing animal - and a BABY ONE at that - are for it to be SILENT, then you do not deserve to own one. Go volunteer at a shelter instead if you want to test drive a puppy. Better yet, get a stuffed animal.
Don’t waste a breeder’s time by misleading them, and convincing them to sell you a puppy that you are not fully prepared to accept the responsibility for, or intend to be completely unrealistic in your expectations of said BABY dog.
BABIES cry. It is 100% expected in humans. I will never understand why someone expects a puppy who’s only been on this planet for 8 whole weeks to be silent when separated from the only comfort they’ve ever known. If you’d expect the same thing from a human infant, I hope you don’t plan on having children either.
