The temperaments on these babies are awesome. Dad is Logan my softest most cuddly boar and mum is Winnie the most chilled sow of them all. It shines through on their offspring 🥰
It may be snowing outside…. But inside the cavies are toasty and warm and tucking into a feast. 🥰
Violet, Daisy and Brownie are off to their new home with Baloo in the next week or so. But here they are enjoying their fresh hay and veggies. 🥰
Little Henrietta has joined the sow pen with her mum Ember. She has a lovely home lined up. 🥰
Hugo and Horatio were weaned today. They are being babysat by Uncle Logan who is a godsend for showing young boars the ropes. 🥰
Congrats to Sophie Collins for giving this little sow currently called Henrietta a home. 🥰
Logan always makes me smile. His happy place is a fresh pile of hay. 🥰
The sow shed is my favourite set up. Love how sociable it is and they love parading back in after a clean out. ❤️
Ember and Baloo waiting for breakfast veggies. These two are a recent pairing with babies due from late October. Ember is an amazing mum and this is her final litter.
Logan and his son Ace enjoying a chin rub before breakfast 💙💙
These two sows were born on Wednesday. When I found them with two others they were still completely in their birthing sacks, blue, cold, wet and limp. I though they were all dead. I was heartbroken. I took the sacks off to see what they were and one of them gasped. I worked on all four warming them under the tap, cutting cords and rubbing them dry. I managed to save 2 out of the 4. So meet Charlotte and Chance who have been doing so well. They have had lots of top up feeds and some critical care over the past few days but they are now being nursed by mum and seem to be thriving. 🥰
