Our mommacita is 7 today!! Sophie can be so sweet and loving, but so stubborn at times. She got a new toy for her birthday and a doughnut from our favorite bakery. I think her life is pretty good, but so is ours for having her in it!

Hard to believe that it's Steele's 6th birthday today! He's been such a gift to us and so many more as a therapy dog. His favorite thing in life are stuffed animals, so of course he got a new one for his birthday!

We found out today that the puppy we donated to Partners for Patriots to become a service dog for a veteran, was placed with his veteran. Braven will be two in June and has touched so many lives already. Thank you to Pam Long from the Good Dog Center who completed the Puppy Apptitude test to identify his ability to become a service dog. Thank you to Terri and Dan Haugen for being Braven's Puppy raisers. They put so much work into training him, and gave him so much love. We shared many tears when they dropped him off at Partners for Patriots to begin his training. Saying goodbye to him after they had him for almost a year was not easy. Thank you to Cindy, Director/Trainer at Partners for Patriots for creating such a wonderful program. Veterans get the service dog that has been trained to meet their needs for free. If you are ever looking for an organization to support with a financial donation, Partners for Patriots is definitely a great choice!
