The girls had a lot of socializing this weekend! My niece came over to play with them and help snap some adorable individual photos. We took the pictures right after playtime when they were ready for their naps, so they all looked extra sleepy and cuddly. She even had to help keep Purple's head up for the shot—too cute! 🤣💕

The girls had softened kibble for the first time a few days ago. They were very enthusiastic about it! Not thinking of the mess giving four bouncy puppies moist dog food would make, I decided to sit in the whelping box to take pictures. Needless to say, we all ended up covered in it and I didn't get as many pictures as I had hoped! 😅

It's a bit delayed, but the past few days have been quite eventful! Sugar underwent a c-section last Thursday and brought six adorable puppies into the world. Unfortunately, one of the puppies didn't survive. However, the remaining five girls are absolutely stunning and full of energy. While Sugar is recuperating and adjusting to her new role as a mother, I have been attending to her and the puppies around the clock. She's taken to motherhood remarkably well and didn't need much help last night. These five are going to be beauties and I am so excited to see them grow!

All the puppies from this litter are spoken for.

Wishing Cash and his siblings a wonderful 7th birthday! 🎉 This litter, the first under the name Faded Ash, marks a significant milestone in my independent breeding journey. After assisting my mother in breeding goldens since 2000, welcoming these five precious pups fulfilled a long-held dream. Remi and her progeny have laid a strong foundation for my breeding efforts. Anticipation is growing as we eagerly await the arrival of Cash's grandchildren and Remi's great-grandchildren in the next few days! 🐾

🎉Happy Birthday to my fall 2019 litter! It has been so much fun to see all of the birthday updates today! It makes me so happy to see how much they've grown and are loved. 🍂🎂

Does anyone else have a golden that knows how to open doors? I left the room for 5 minutes! It doesn't help that she just had a bath and all of that flour and sugar is stuck to her like dough. We keep Blossom proof knob covers on all doors leading to the outside. I guess the pantry door needs one next! Her sire's name translates to rebel without a cause. Makes sense. 🥴😅
