Dr. Jenn brings Acupuncture to your pet.

Dr. Jenn Johnson is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She practices integrative medicine which means she blends both modern Western Veterinary Medicine with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in order to provide the most complete wellness recommendations and treatments for your beloved pets.

Dr. Jenn graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and spent her clinical year of studies at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing modern veterinary medicine since 2003. In 2016 Dr. Jenn began a holistic journey for herself to explore relief from chronic pain and digestion issues. Along this journey she became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and experienced other healing modalities such as acupuncture, herbs, essential oils and various supplements for herself. It was through her self-exploration and study that she realized this is where her veterinary career needed to go! She enrolled in the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received her CVA (Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist) in 2018. She has since taken additional courses in Advanced Acupuncture techniques, Nutrition Therapy, and Chinese Herbs. In January 2020 she will be enrolled at the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute to become a Certified Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner (CVMMP) and will also being offering Chiropractic Services in late 2020.

During the week you will find Dr. Jenn at her practice, McConnellsburg Veterinary Clinic, in McConnellsburg, PA. She practices integrative small animal medicine and surgery here on dogs, cats, rabbits, and small mammals. At this time Dr. Jenn will be offering mobile acupuncture and holistic consultation services through Healing Hands Integrative Veterinary Care on weekends and select times through the week.
