What started as a way for me to pay for lessons became the best thing to happen in my life. While I haven't picked up any other barn jobs the time I spend with this goofball and his friends is the best. ❤🐴 20 hours a week with this crew doesn't leave a lot of extra time outside my full-time job but if you're looking for someone to fill in or cover a weekend away, let me know.

🌷Spring cleaning🌷

I honestly had to stop cleaning paddocks after completing these 3. But nothing a little ibuprofen and relief balm won't help.. Pulled out, raked, swept, and replaced 12 stall mats on top of the paddocks + 1.

Worth every ounce of hard work. 💪❤🐎

Nothing more satisfying than seeing the ground beneath the built up manure, ice, and snow. One more day of paddock cleaning this week, then it's life at my full-time job for a few days. This time brings me so much joy.

This crazy cat went along for the ride as I went in and out of this stall. Plus loves from this girl 🐴❤ always make my day.

These warm temperatures and rapidly melting snow have me so excited. 🤔 A little frustrated in myself for not staying on top of all the 🐴💩 this winter. I thought I had done a good job. The ❄ ❄ hid a little more than I thought. One paddock completely cleared today felt so good. 💪🦵🍑 My glutes, my glutes, my glutes are on fire 🔥🤣

Another great week with my friends 🐴❤🐴even if it was cold AF. A little over 16 hours spent outside this week. It's really helping my mental health. I'm grateful for the sunshine today as it helped make the wind a little more tolerable.

Nothing makes me happier than a clean paddock, except maybe all the paddocks being clean.

First day back to normal with the girls being in school after the holiday break. It felt so nice to spend my day outside. Lots of fresh air, nuzzles, and rubs.

This is the calm and quiet in the storm that is my nurse and mom of 3 life.

My best helper at the barn today. I absolutely love cleaning paddocks. I get to spend a little time with all the horses and get an incredible workout. Spent 7 hours scooping 🐴💩. It bothers me when I can't get all of them done. We had to bust up a lot of frozen piles. They're the best for a 4 year old to pick up.

I used to have a boy like him. He was gray instead of black. Maybe a little longer hair but it made me so happy seeing this guy today.

This boy on the right let's me give him a rub every now and then. Don't worry l, I didn't leave it standing up like that. He kind of looked a little Rockstar.

It's my friend from the other day. I was super excited to see he stayed clean for 24 hours. He then got a new blanket just in time for those cold temperatures. This heat wave today was the perfect way to end my vacation.

I'm grateful to work at a barn so that my girls can have lessons. This boy always intrigues me. He loves his lady neighbors and actually gets super worried when they go out for a ride. Today I stayed late to give this man some love. He probably went and rolled within 5 minutes of me leaving but he got a good brushing. I think I still have dirt in my braces 🤪

You can't tell the horses "I've got a runny nose and headache." They still need to be fed and taken care of. While the circus couldn't go school because of they're symptoms they could still help out.

This all started with working at a barn in trade for lessons for my girls. Yesterday, I knew the rain was going to come. I stayed late and powered through the paddocks.

1. Wet manure is harder to lift.
2. It's not good for their hooves to stand in.
3. Because it is how I'd want my animal taken care of.

So while my scheduled shift was only 2 hours, I stayed for 4. My friend approves. ❤🐴
