🆘🆘🆘 Bella to be EUTHANIZED- hurting herself in the kennel 😭😭😭❌❌

Bella
7 yrs old
70 lbs.


Bella is a big muscular girl with a soft heart. Volunteers and staff just love this beauty! Sadly she is hurting herself by jumping in the kennel. There has been blood all over the kennel floor.
These dogs only get out of the kennels every 7-10 days on average 😞

A volunteer recently took her out of the kennel and shared this:
“Bella pulled a bit while exiting but only gave sniffs to dogs on the way out. No aggression at all.
Once out she settled down quickly and had a very loose leash the entire time. We stopped for pets and she leaned her whole body into me and just looked at me with her amber eyes inviting more lovin’. She knows sit and paw. Took treats gently. Easy pull and return to kennel.
She is a diamond in the rough and I pray we can get her out of there.

Bella needs no training from what I can see she is just anxious and needs out. She is hurting herself too. Blood on her paws and snout. “

✨Meet Quincey✨

Age: 8 years old

This sweet boy is looking for his forever home.
Quincey has poor eye sight and poor hearing.
He has been a single dog his entire life, so we are not sure how he is around other dogs, but we can do a test run with your dog to make sure. He is great around children.
He is neutered and is up to date with his vaccines. He is currently being treated for an ear infection.

We get asked often what is the adoption fee.
I'll just post it here.
For dogs under 2yo,
The fee is $450
For 2-6yo, the fee is $350.
For dogs over 6, the fee is $250.

We will be posted 3 new dogs.
Watch for updates.

THANK YOU to all of you for supporting rescue groups.
Currently we don't have any dogs available.
It takes time to set up the process. WE DON'T HAVE A FACILITY TO TAKE DROP OFFS..
WE try and work with owners to keep dogs until we can find new fur-ever homes..
Some adoptions can be as quick and as simple as less than a week.
While others might take 4-6 weeks.
Also depending on the response we get for a dog, it takes time to review each person interested and match up requirements.
We ask you to please be patient with us.

✨Meet Buck✨( Adopted !!)

Age: 1.5 years old.
This sweet boy is in need of a fur-ever home!
He has a history of being good around dogs as he used to live with another dog and did great. No known history of not getting along with other dogs.
Buck is a pretty fearful boy and loud noises make him very scared. He is not the best around children because any loud noises they make will make him afraid and he barks.
He seems to do fine around women, but has been a little reactive to his foster dad.

Meet Milah. ***ADOPTED***
3 years old, spayed, good with all ages. As far as dogs, currently living with 5 total but there is one in particular that she randomly gets aggressive with, a older c**n hound. She rides in the car to the vet just fine. Does ok on leash - she's free to wander in the backyard with the other dogs most of the time.

Has has 2 litters. No known medical issues. She's a great dog and loves to be loved on.

Has been around a granddaughter who is 4. She needs to learn to stay down and can jump sometimes but she is not violent at all. She's doing it for some loving attention

Meet Stella and Rambo.
( Must stay together as a pair)

This is Stella and Rambo.
Stella is eight years old and she's an American bulldog and Rambo is three years old and he's an English bulldog. The owner had a stroke and is paralyzed and is in a wheelchair and can no longer care for the dogs.
Stella is spayed Rambo is not neutered.
The lady that is caring for the owner right now has a cocker spaniel and they get along fine with the cocker spaniel the dogs have never been around children. The dogs must stay together. American bulldogs are the sweetest dog ever. I hope someone can save them.

An update from Alex who is fostering Odin!!

Odin is doing great. I've been working with him on commands and he can do Stay, Sit, Shake, show me your belly. We are still working on heeling on walks, but he's getting better. He doesn't go after people in the street if they are by themselves, but if he sees other dogs he will pull the leash, but no barking. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. I had a friend come over and he is very friendly with people and doesn't bark when people come to the door. He still doesn't do well with my cat, but that is partly because my cat hates all dogs and immediately goes into defense mode when he sees one. Overall, he's a great dog, but would still recommend he be the only animal in the house for now till he gets socialized a bit more.

Unfortunately Odin’s adoption was not successful and he is still looking for his forever home. Thank you to Alex for fostering him for the time being. We have included Odin’s Animal Detail from the County shelter. He must be the only dog.

Some notes from Alex who is fostering Odin:

I just fed him and was able to get him to stay and wait while I put his food down and he waited until I gave him the Okay command to go to his bowl. He's definitely got some training experience which is good. He also takes training treats real easy from the hand, no snapping

The pickup was fine, took a little over an hour. He was good in the car, just laid down in the back seat the whole way. He pulls a little on the leash, but I can work on that with him. He knows sit, he's working on stay, he wants to, but I think he's just excited right now. I haven't walked him outside yet because it's too hot. He did wait for me to let him out and went p*e and p**p outside, so that's good. He loves chasing a ball around and is pretty playful. I don't see any signs of aggression so far.
