KCI 2025 🥰
Gosh what a few days. Should've departed on Wednesday but a broken van decided to put a stop to that, and I had major last minute panic 😱 decided to borrow and insure myself on my partners truck, ordered a tent to pickup from Peterborough on Thursday.. 5am departure on Thursday and we were off!
Day 1 was probably our best day! Twix had the most perfect distance with me layering in his first run which even had the judge clapping him mid run (video one), it was such an awesome feeling watching him do it and then the fact the judge noticed was even better 🥹. We then had a lovely run in Crufts Novice 3-5 and then we finished the day off with an unplaced clear in G4 jumping! 🧡
Day 2 I had a comment from a judge saying I had a lovely smile when we got eliminated; a compliment is a compliment though 😂
Day 3&4 we also had lots more good work, Twix was flagging quite a bit this morning but managed some lovely bits especially in his Crufts ABC qualifier (last video), but it was definitely over for us at that point so I withdrew from our last run, packed up and went home 😴 I must say it was nice to have finished by 10:15 😅😳

Special shout out to for having powdered beef broth, such a useful addition when camping as I don't have any means of keeping anything cool so the fact we can have powdered beef broth then just pop that in some water and give it a good shake is absolutely perfect, both the boys love it!!
