Can I get a discount?
👉Answer:
No. We do not provide discounts.
The only way a discount would be provided is if your puppy had a medical issue. In that case we will get a maximum quote from our (adult dog) vet on the procedure needed to fix the medical problem and discount this quote from the price of the pup.
If your pup is found to have a life threatening issue we may revoke your hold on the pup, it is not personal we just know we can and will provide the proper care to help this pup have a good life. This can be negotiated only if your current vet is able and knowledgeable enough to properly care for the dog and we feel the same about you. In this case taking a pup with a known issue will void your warranty on the pup, but it will not void your contract, you will still need to check in.

What kind of health guarantee do you provide?
👉Answer:
We offer a 1 year health guarantee. In that year it is your responsibility to preform all tests needed to ensure your pup does not have a life threatening or long-term medical issue.
We do not guarantee your pup of any parasites. We do provide preventative wormer to all pups, mom, and our surrounding dogs. But we live in the country and your dog can pick up a parasite simply from eating grass in the yard. We do require you worm your dog with a stronger wormer after 12 weeks old upon delivery. This ensures their health, as pups younger can only use gentle wormer that eliminates worms not eggs. So eggs may still be present and should be eliminated asap! It takes only 10 days for your pup to become infested with worms and eggs without a good worming medication.
We do not guarantee against parvo, though your dog will receive 3 sets of vaccines before arriving, greatly slimming its chance of getting parvo in the first place while in your care. The final vaccine at 15 weeks old to complete the pups set is your responsibility.
This is a short description of our health guarantee. It goes more into detail covering other things. You are REQUIRED to take your pup to the vet for a health check up/ testing no later than 3 days from delivery in order to activate your warranty (holidays and business hours excluded).

How can I get a puppy with American Blue?
👉Answer:
Getting a puppy threw us is not very difficult nor is it very easy. But, it is a long process that requires dedication, loyalty, honesty, and determination. If your not dedicated enough to finish this process 100% threw, our dogs are not meant for you.
💁QUESTION:
What is the process?
👉Answer:
1. We will start by filling out the questionnaire. It asks basic questions about why you want a dog, how many pets are in the current household, what kind of research you have done on the breed, vet info, references, etc and it is very lengthy.
🐾 Once you have finished the questionnaire we will decide if your a good fit for this breed, wether we need to send more info for you to read up on, wether your financially able, etc. You must be approved to get a pup from us. If you feel we have declined your questionnaire for an unreasonable reason please feel free to ask and we will elaborate. You can then explain why you still think your the right person for an American Blue pup. We may reconsider.
2. After the questionnaire has been completed and you have been approved we will place your spot on hold for a puppy once the litter is born. If the litter is already born you will be able to choose which puppy you would like to put on hold with your questionnaire. Filling out and being approved for the questionnaire is like placing down a deposit. It guarantees your spot in line.
3. Next we discuss where you are located and how delivery 🚛 will be done. Our dogs require a yard 🏡check. We used to allow Skype or video yard checks but this will no longer be applicable with any future litters, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you. We also used to deliver to canada and Mexico, this will no longer be available unless approved and agreed upon by both parties.
🐾Our delivery fee is based off of a gas fee. We calculate the millage from our home to yours and back, the millage is then added to a gallon calculator that tells us how much it will cost to get to you. We provide pictures of the program with a quote. This is a minimal charge for our time and gas and we try to make it as affordable as possible.
🐾The delivery fee must be paid 2 weeks in advance based off of the delivery date. We currently accept this payment threw western union, comp checks, walmart money transfer and some bank transferring apps. We will no longer go threw cash transferring apps such as cashapp, PayPal, etc. This is due to them being able to hold the money for 20+ days, this becomes an inconvenience over time if we have any trouble on the road. All additional fees for transferring on our end is our responsibility, we do not charge you extra for this.
4. Then we send over your contract info. You will have time to view and read the contract before delivery. All questions regarding the contract will be answered within this timeframe. You can print out and begin filling the contract info if you wish but signing of the contract must be done upon delivery in person. You have the right to request reading the contract before all of this is discussed and we will send screen shots of the contract over to you.
🐾Our contract is a co-ownership contract. This is important because without a co-ownership we are left unable to do anything if the dog is re-sold or abused (animals/pets are considered property). This contract allows us to pull our pups out of any life threatening situations such as abusive situations and shelters/pounds. 5. And finally, approved, delivered, yard checked, and contract signed. The puppy is now yours. We will check in the next day to see how your day went, 2 weeks after that, 6months after that, then yearly.. We may cease check ups completely if we feel you are responsible and we can trust you will inform us of any problems you may occur in the future.

What can be a reason my questionnaire was denied?

▪You have aggressive dogs. 🚫
▪You have a complete
misunderstanding of the breed.
▪You have more than 2 "pitbull" class dogs in the household that are aggressive or not fixed.
▪You have too many indoor cats.
(Amstaffs have a high prey drive and can be animal aggressive)
▪You lied on your questionnaire, or did not provide enough references

We do not currently charge deposits. If we do in the future it will be refundable.

Why cant i just give you money and get a dog. 🙍I mean Why do you make it so hard? Its just a dog.

Thats just not how it works here at American Blue. We do as much as possible to provide the best homes for our pups. We do not just throw them out. We are 100% against sheltering our dogs or contributing to the overpopulation in shelters.

Why do you require your pups be spayed and neutered before leaving your custody?

We refuse to contribute to backyard breeders. Its nothing personal, just our policy.

Ear cropping?
👉Answer:
Yes, we do ear crops upon request. In this case you must purchase the pup early before the crop appointment. The dog MUST be paid in full, along with the cropping fee, extra gas fee, and time fee. All these fees fluctuate depending on what the vet charges, what gas prices are at, how long the appointment will take, and how much time is put into recovery and keeping the crown on the pup.
