Off to spend a few days with the babes to soak up the last bit of half term.

We are all exhausted and need a little break. How are you all fairing with the juggle?!

Im caught somewhere between desperate to spend some quality time with the children away from work and house Reno.. to also having the impossible task of turning off the ‘jobs list’ in my brain.

The pressure is on… t minus 11 days until the BIG MOVE. In all honestly I’ve never felt stress like it. Work has been a super distraction but equally need about a million more hours in the day. Or need to multiply myself by at least 4.

Working with the hens, filming for Nestera today just makes you forget everything else, they have that effect of us these 🐓’s don’t they?

The messy bit at the house seems to be coming to end.. with the rewire and replumb almost complete. 🙏🏻.

Teamed with no child free days of recent.. no comment.
If my mother could hurry up and get back from India that would be marvellous 😂😅.

Awaiting boxes so can’t pack yet, so off to paint my bathroom ‘vanity’. Going for farrowandball Bone. Fingers crossed I like it 😬.

I can’t wait to see my visions coming to life this week at the 🏠.. I’ve so enjoyed this, and grateful that so many of you have loved the journey too, even if it is a little less 🐓 related for a few weeks!!

No longer afraid to ask for help and love this little community on here and also locally! I’m having a couple of open house painting days, because why not?! People coming together is literally the greatest thing ever.

The house most defo won’t be ready to move into by moving day but I’m ok with that. Life is short, it is what it is, and it’s ours 😊.. the rest will fall into place over time. It will be abit like camping 😅. Kids are so excited, as am I 🫶🏻.

I give my day a solid 9 today, how was yours?!

It didn’t feel like work (even though my body aches). I just love it 🐄 🐓, vet tech today, hen guru tomorrow… how is this my life?! 👌🏻

House wise, builders are in, two very big South Africans and we can’t believe what was achieved in a day. It was a high head count of activity in that tiny cottage. Oil tank is in, heating is hopefully a week away! Sooo exciting after my initial spiral on Monday.

Anyway, into an unexpected weekend of the children, we have a long jobs list to crack on with, good job my list is adaptable… and family is rallying round. They say it takes a village 🫶🏻. I’ll sleep well in a few months I reckon 😅.

Oh and I’ve got 2 weeks to build a run for the hens. May need to just use my nestera.uk extension run for a couple of weeks… because I’m always wayyy too ambitious in getting jobs done.
